CBI FILES CHARGESHEET AGAINST FOUR ACCUSED IN A CASE RELATED TO MURDER OF SHRI BHADU SK, RESIDENT OF BOGTUI, DISTRICT BIRBHUM (WEST BENGAL)
The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a chargesheet against four accused in the Competent Court in a case related to murder of Shri Bhadu Sk, resident of village Bogtui, District Birbhum (West Bengal). CBI had registered a case on 08.04.2022 on the orders dated 08.04.2022 of the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta in connection with WPA (P) 130, 124, 125, 126, 129 and 133 of 2022 and taken over the investigation of the case, earlier registered vide FIR No. 168/2022 dated 22.03.2022 at Police Station Rampurhat, District Birbhum (West Bengal) against 10 accused on a complaint. It was alleged that on 21.03.2022, while the complainant was having tea at a shop in Bogtui More at around 08.30 P.M. his brother Sh. Bhadu Sk (a Deputy Pradhan of Barsal Gram Panchayat) was speaking over phone sitting on a motor cycle at Bogtui More. It was further alleged that the accused threw bomb targeting the head of his brother and on being hit on his head, his brother fell down on the ground. It was also alleged that the said accused kept throwing more bombs aiming his brother. The complainant took his brother to Rampurhat Hospital where Doctor declared him dead. The State Police arrested six accused/suspected persons. CBI collected digital as well as other scientific evidence. It was found during investigation that there was long standing rivalry between two groups in the area. One group was led by the deceased Shri Bhadu Sk and another was led by FIR named accused. Shri Bhadu Sk was killed in furtherance of the said rivalry. After investigation, a charge-sheet was filed. Further investigation is continuing regarding role of other accused and to unearth the larger conspiracy.
