The reference to ‘Kasam Sindoor Ki’ — a patriotic composition written and performed by the Indian Navy’s own officers and sailors — evoked widespread appreciation. The song, dedicated to Operation Sindoor, celebrates the Indian Armed Forces’ unity, courage, and triumphs. During the Diwali event, a ceremonial Steampast and Flypast added grandeur to the celebration. “It has become a habit of mine to celebrate Diwali with my family — and that’s why every year, I come to celebrate Diwali with my family,”
he remarked, drawing loud cheers from sailors who see the Prime Minister’s visits as a morale-boosting gesture of solidarity.
He praised the Indian Navy as “the silent sentinel of India’s maritime frontiers,” whose professionalism and commitment safeguard the nation’s economic lifelines, trade routes, and strategic interests in the Indian Ocean Region. Modi also highlighted how INS Vikrant stands as a testament to India’s journey from being a “defence importer” to a “defence innovator and exporter.”

India Nears Freedom from Naxal Terror: PM Modi’s Strong Message
In his address, Prime Minister Modi also touched upon another crucial aspect of India’s internal security — the near-eradication of Maoist-Naxal terrorism. With visible satisfaction, he declared that India was “on the verge of being free from Naxal-Maoist terror” after a decade of consistent counter-insurgency efforts.
“Before 2014, around 125 districts of the country were affected by Maoist violence. Due to a decade of persistent efforts, this number has reduced significantly. Now, out of 125, only 11 districts still show some influence of Maoists, and among these, the actual areas of impact are limited to just three districts,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister credited India’s security forces — including the Indian Army, CRPF, and local police — for their coordination, courage, and relentless pursuit of peace in affected regions. भारत की समुद्री शक्ति और सांस्कृतिक एकता के संगम का प्रतीक बना यह दिवाली उत्सव। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारतीय नौसेना के सबसे गर्वपूर्ण मंच — आईएनएस विक्रांत — पर अपने सैनिक परिवार के साथ दिवाली मनाई और इसे “अविस्मरणीय अनुभव” बताया। यह कार्यक्रम न केवल एक त्योहारी अवसर था, बल्कि राष्ट्र की आत्मनिर्भर रक्षा क्षमता और सैनिकों के समर्पण का जीवंत प्रतीक बन गया।

इसमें MiG-29K लड़ाकू विमान, P-8I, Sea King, MH-60R Seahawk जैसे आधुनिक विमान और उन्नत रडार-हथियार प्रणाली शामिल हैं। यह केवल एक युद्धपोत नहीं, बल्कि “मेड इन इंडिया” सैन्य कौशल और तकनीकी शक्ति का तैरता हुआ घोषणापत्र है।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान नौसेना ने एक “स्टीमपास्ट” और “फ्लाईपास्ट” का भी प्रदर्शन किया, जिसमें INS विक्रांत, INS विक्रमादित्य, INS चेन्नई, INS मोर्मुगाओ, INS कोलकाता, INS इम्फाल, INS तबर, INS तेग, INS दीपक और INS अदित्य शामिल थे।

प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि यह गीत उस भावना का प्रतीक है जो सैनिकों को युद्धभूमि से लेकर समाज सेवा तक प्रेरित करती है — “सेवा सर्वोपरि।”
नक्सलवाद पर निर्णायक प्रहार — “भारत लगभग मुक्त”
पीएम मोदी ने अपने संबोधन में देश की आंतरिक सुरक्षा स्थिति पर भी बात की और कहा कि भारत अब नक्सल-माओवादी आतंकवाद से लगभग मुक्त हो चुका है।
उन्होंने कहा —
“2014 से पहले देश के करीब 125 जिले नक्सल हिंसा से प्रभावित थे। लेकिन दस वर्षों के सतत प्रयासों के बाद अब केवल 11 जिले ही किसी हद तक प्रभावित हैं, और इनमें से वास्तविक सक्रियता केवल तीन जिलों तक सीमित है।”
प्रधानमंत्री ने भारतीय सुरक्षा बलों — सेना, सीआरपीएफ और स्थानीय पुलिस — के साहस, समन्वय और बलिदान की प्रशंसा की।
“पहली बार लोग भय और हिंसा के वातावरण से निकलकर विकास की मुख्यधारा में लौट रहे हैं,” उन्होंने कहा।
“जहां कभी नक्सली सड़कों और स्कूलों को नष्ट करते थे, वहां आज राजमार्ग बन रहे हैं, उद्योग खड़े हो रहे हैं और बच्चे उसी मिट्टी पर शिक्षा प्राप्त कर रहे हैं जहां कभी गोलियों की गूंज थी।”
