The inauguration of the Integrated Health Centre marks a major milestone in providing holistic medical care, catering to the specific health needs of women, children, and military dependents. The event was attended by senior military officials, healthcare professionals, and families, who welcomed this initiative as a significant enhancement to the existing medical infrastructure at the station.

Expanding Healthcare Access for Military Families

The “Amogh Surakshita” Integrated Health Centre has been designed to address the diverse healthcare needs of the military community, with dedicated specialists providing:

  • Gynecological services for women’s reproductive health, maternity care, and preventive screenings.
  • Pediatric care ensuring specialized treatment for infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Psychological counseling to support mental health and well-being, especially for military families facing stress due to relocations and deployments.
  • Physiotherapy services for rehabilitation, mobility improvement, and pain management.

During the inauguration, a senior military officer emphasized the importance of accessible and high-quality healthcare for the well-being of military families. “A strong family unit forms the backbone of a soldier’s morale and efficiency. By providing specialized medical services under one roof, we are ensuring that our families receive the best possible care, which, in turn, enhances the overall welfare of the station,” he stated.
