Army Commander Sapta Shakti Command Reviews Operational Preparedness at Hisar Military Station
Jaipur/Hisar, August 19, 2025 – In a significant demonstration of the Indian Army’s commitment to modernization and combat readiness under the vision of a ‘Decade of Transformation’, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, undertook a two-day visit to Hisar Military Station from 18–19 August 2025. The visit focused on a holistic review of operational preparedness, welfare infrastructure, and the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies, particularly in the field of drone warfare and counter-drone strategies.
Operational Preparedness of ‘Dot On Target Division’
During the visit, the Army Commander extensively reviewed the operational preparedness of formations under the ‘Dot On Target Division’, renowned for its precision-oriented training and high combat standards. He evaluated combat efficacy and agility of formations in the backdrop of modern warfare, with a spotlight on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), counter-drone measures, and loitering munitions.
The growing drone threat across global conflict zones has placed a renewed emphasis on technological readiness in the Indian Army. Lieutenant General Singh personally observed modifications and innovations undertaken by units to mitigate these threats and appreciated the adaptive measures being developed at the ground level.
Drone Centre of Excellence & Counter-Drone Node
The Army Commander visited the Division Drone Centre of Excellence and the Counter Drone Node, where soldiers are being trained in advanced drone warfare technologies. The facility has become a hub of innovation, offering structured training in surveillance, offensive drone operations, and counter-measures against hostile unmanned aerial platforms.
Lieutenant General Singh underscored the critical need for a robust counter-drone strategy involving long-range detection and advanced kill capabilities to secure military establishments both in peace and wartime. “Drone warfare is the reality of modern conflict, and our preparedness must reflect both technological depth and operational agility,” he emphasized.
Focus on Soldier Welfare and Inclusive Infrastructure
In addition to operational reviews, the Army Commander inspected various Station Welfare Infrastructure projects. These included a modern Integrated Health Centre, a well-catalogued digital library, an open-air gym and sports complex, and the ASHA School for differently-abled children.
He lauded the initiatives undertaken by the Dot On Target Division to create an inclusive and progressive environment for soldiers and their families. These welfare projects, according to him, represent the Army’s commitment to holistic well-being—extending beyond battlefields into community development and social responsibility.
Message of Transformation and Viksit Bharat
The visit carried a broader symbolism in line with the Army’s ongoing transformation drive. The Army Commander urged formations to maintain high levels of operational preparedness, adapt to the ever-evolving challenges of modern battlefields, and embrace technological integration as the foundation of future warfare.
He also acknowledged the relentless dedication and professionalism of all ranks, praising their contribution toward the dual goals of military modernization and the national vision of Viksit Bharat.
Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh’s Hisar visit not only reinforced the operational readiness of Sapta Shakti Command but also highlighted the Army’s balanced approach—equally investing in cutting-edge military technologies and welfare of its soldiers and families. सप्त शक्ति कमान के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह का हिसार मिलिट्री स्टेशन दौरा: ऑपरेशनल तैयारी और आधुनिक तकनीक पर विशेष जोर
जयपुर/हिसार, 19 अगस्त 2025 – भारतीय सेना द्वारा ‘डिकेड ऑफ ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन’ के तहत युद्ध क्षमता और आधुनिकीकरण की दिशा में उठाए जा रहे कदमों को रेखांकित करते हुए सप्त शक्ति कमान के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने 18–19 अगस्त 2025 को हिसार मिलिट्री स्टेशन का दो दिवसीय दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने ‘डॉट ऑन टारगेट डिवीजन’ की युद्ध तैयारी, ड्रोन टेक्नोलॉजी आधारित प्रशिक्षण और सैनिक कल्याण परियोजनाओं का गहन मूल्यांकन किया।
‘डॉट ऑन टारगेट डिवीजन’ की समीक्षा
आर्मी कमांडर ने ‘डॉट ऑन टारगेट डिवीजन’ की ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों की व्यापक समीक्षा की। उन्होंने सैनिकों की चपलता, मारक क्षमता और युद्ध कौशल का मूल्यांकन किया और मानवरहित हवाई प्रणालियों (UAS), काउंटर-ड्रोन उपायों और लोइटरिंग म्यूनिशन पर विशेष ध्यान दिया।
विश्वभर में बढ़ते ड्रोन खतरों को देखते हुए भारतीय सेना ने भी अपनी रणनीतियों में बड़े बदलाव किए हैं। लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल सिंह ने यूनिटों द्वारा अपनाए गए नए नवाचारों और संशोधनों की सराहना की और उन्हें भविष्य की चुनौतियों से निपटने में महत्वपूर्ण बताया।
ड्रोन सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस और काउंटर-ड्रोन नोड
आर्मी कमांडर ने डिवीजन के ड्रोन सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस और काउंटर ड्रोन नोड का दौरा किया। यहाँ सैनिकों को आधुनिक ड्रोन तकनीकों, निगरानी प्रणालियों, आक्रामक ड्रोन संचालन और शत्रु ड्रोन से निपटने के तरीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है।
उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि शांति और युद्ध, दोनों समय में सैन्य प्रतिष्ठानों की सुरक्षा के लिए लंबी दूरी की पहचान और सटीक मारक क्षमता पर आधारित मजबूत काउंटर-ड्रोन रणनीति आवश्यक है।
सैनिक कल्याण और समावेशी विकास
सैन्य तैयारियों के साथ-साथ लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल सिंह ने स्टेशन की कई कल्याणकारी परियोजनाओं का भी निरीक्षण किया। इनमें आधुनिक एकीकृत स्वास्थ्य केंद्र, डिजिटल सुविधाओं से युक्त पुस्तकालय, ओपन एयर जिम और खेल परिसर, तथा विशेष रूप से दिव्यांग बच्चों के लिए बनाया गया आशा स्कूल शामिल हैं।
उन्होंने सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के लिए ऐसी सुविधाओं के निर्माण को सराहनीय बताया और इसे सेना की संवेदनशीलता और सामाजिक दायित्व का प्रतीक बताया।
विकसित भारत और आधुनिकीकरण का संदेश
दौरे के दौरान आर्मी कमांडर ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि भारतीय सेना को लगातार बदलते युद्धक्षेत्र के अनुरूप उच्चस्तरीय ऑपरेशनल तैयारी बनाए रखनी होगी। उन्होंने सैनिकों की समर्पण भावना और देश को विकसित भारत बनाने के लक्ष्य में योगदान की सराहना की।
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह का हिसार दौरा केवल युद्ध तैयारियों की समीक्षा तक सीमित नहीं रहा, बल्कि इसने भारतीय सेना की उस संतुलित दृष्टि को उजागर किया जिसमें तकनीकी आधुनिकीकरण और सैनिक कल्याण दोनों समान रूप से महत्वपूर्ण हैं। उनका संदेश स्पष्ट था – भारतीय सेना आधुनिक युद्ध की हर चुनौती का सामना करने के लिए तैयार है और साथ ही अपने सैनिकों और परिवारों के सामाजिक विकास को भी प्राथमिकता देती है।
