बॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री दिशा पटानी के बरेली स्थित घर पर फायरिंग, रोहित गोडारा-गोल्डी ब्रार गैंग ने ली जिम्मेदारी, धार्मिक गुरुओं का अपमान बताया वजह

उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली शहर में शुक्रवार तड़के हुए एक सनसनीखेज हमले ने पूरे प्रदेश के सुरक्षा तंत्र और बॉलीवुड जगत को हिला दिया है। फिल्म अभिनेत्री दिशा पटानी के सिविल लाइंस स्थित आवास पर बाइक सवार बदमाशों ने गोलियां चलाईं। हालांकि घटना में कोई घायल नहीं हुआ, लेकिन हमले की जिम्मेदारी कुख्यात रोहित गोडारा-गोल्डी ब्रार गैंग ने ली है और इस हमले को कथित तौर पर ‘धार्मिक गुरुओं का अपमान’ बताकर अंजाम दिया गया है।
घटना का विवरण
पुलिस के अनुसार यह घटना सुबह लगभग 4:30 बजे हुई जब दो बदमाश मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार होकर पटानी परिवार के घर के बाहर आए और दो राउंड फायरिंग कर मौके से फरार हो गए। गोलियों की आवाज से परिवार के सदस्य दहशत में आ गए।
उस समय घर में दिशा की बहन खुशबू पटानी — जो पूर्व आर्मी अफसर हैं, पिता जगदीश पटानी — जो सेवानिवृत्त डीएसपी हैं, और उनकी मां पद्मा पटानी मौजूद थे। दिशा पटानी खुद घटना के समय मुंबई में थीं।
सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घर के बाहर से दो खाली कारतूस बरामद किए। पूरे इलाके को घेराबंदी कर जांच शुरू की गई और पटानी परिवार को सुरक्षा कवच प्रदान किया गया। घर पर अब 24 घंटे सुरक्षा बल तैनात हैं।
गैंग की धमकी और फेसबुक पोस्ट
हमले के कुछ ही घंटे बाद सोशल मीडिया पर एक फेसबुक पोस्ट सामने आया, जिसमें रोहित गोडारा-गोल्डी ब्रार गैंग ने खुलेआम जिम्मेदारी ली। इस पोस्ट में लिखा गया कि हमला दिशा पटानी और उनकी बहन द्वारा कथित तौर पर आध्यात्मिक गुरुओं प्रेमानंद महाराज और अनिरुद्धाचार्य महाराज के खिलाफ दिए गए बयानों की प्रतिक्रिया है।
पोस्ट में धमकी भरे लहजे में कहा गया: “यह तो सिर्फ ट्रेलर है। अगली बार अगर किसी ने हमारे धर्म का अपमान किया तो किसी को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।”
गैंग ने आगे लिखा: “धर्म और समाज हमारे लिए एक हैं। उनकी रक्षा करना ही हमारा पहला कर्तव्य है। हम अपने धर्म की रक्षा के लिए किसी भी हद तक जाने को तैयार हैं।”
अन्य गैंग्स को टैग कर शक्ति प्रदर्शन
इस फेसबुक पोस्ट में मोनू ग्रुप, एपी ग्रुप, काला राणा, नरेश सेठी, टीनू हरियाणा और अमरजीत बिश्नोई जैसे कुख्यात अपराधियों और गैंग्स को भी टैग किया गया। पुलिस के अनुसार यह कदम भय फैलाने और यह दिखाने के लिए उठाया गया कि कई आपराधिक गिरोह मिलकर धार्मिक मुद्दों के नाम पर एकजुटता दिखा रहे हैं।
पुलिस की कार्रवाई और सुरक्षा इंतज़ाम
बरेली के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक (एसएसपी) अनुराग आर्या ने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि “सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच की जा रही है। पांच विशेष टीमें गठित की गई हैं जो बदमाशों की तलाश में लगी हुई हैं। गोल्डी ब्रार और उसके नेटवर्क से जुड़े सभी संभावित संपर्कों पर अलर्ट जारी किया गया है।”
उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि मामला अपराध शाखा (क्राइम ब्रांच) को सौंप दिया गया है ताकि विशेष जांच की जा सके। “परिवार को पूर्ण सुरक्षा दी जा रही है और सोशल मीडिया पर पोस्ट की उत्पत्ति को भी खंगाला जा रहा है,” आर्या ने कहा।
गोल्डी ब्रार का नेटवर्क और पृष्ठभूमि
गोल्डी ब्रार, जो कनाडा में बैठा हुआ गैंगस्टर है और लॉरेंस बिश्नोई गिरोह का करीबी सहयोगी माना जाता है, कई चर्चित मामलों में शामिल रहा है। वह अपने नेटवर्क और सहयोगियों के साथ सोशल मीडिया के जरिए धमकियां देने के लिए कुख्यात है।
रोहित गोडारा के साथ उसका गठजोड़ लगातार भारत में आपराधिक वारदातों को अंजाम देता रहा है। सुरक्षा एजेंसियों का मानना है कि ये गैंग धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक विवादों का इस्तेमाल अपनी पकड़ मजबूत करने और लोगों के बीच भय पैदा करने के लिए करते हैं।

यह घटना बॉलीवुड के लिए एक और झटका है। पिछले कुछ वर्षों में कई कलाकारों, निर्माताओं और निर्देशकों को गैंगस्टरों द्वारा धमकी या रंगदारी मांगे जाने जैसी घटनाएं सामने आई हैं।

फिलहाल पटानी परिवार पुलिस सुरक्षा में है और सिविल लाइंस क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई है। पूरे फिल्म जगत की नजर इस मामले पर है क्योंकि यह धमकी केवल दिशा पटानी तक सीमित नहीं बल्कि पूरी इंडस्ट्री के लिए चेतावनी है।

Shots Fired at Actor Disha Patani’s Bareilly Home: Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar Gang Claims Responsibility, Cites ‘Disrespect Towards Spiritual Figures’

A tense atmosphere gripped Bareilly on Friday morning after unidentified assailants opened fire outside the residence of Bollywood actor Disha Patani. The attack, which police described as “an alarming attempt to intimidate,” has sent shockwaves not only through the film fraternity but also across Uttar Pradesh’s security apparatus. The notorious Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility, citing alleged “disrespect” shown by Disha Patani and her family towards certain religious figures.
The Incident
According to officials, the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the upscale Civil Lines locality of Bareilly, where the Patani family resides. Two men, riding a motorcycle, reportedly stopped near the Patani residence and fired two rounds before fleeing into the dark streets. Though no one was injured, the sound of gunfire jolted the family members awake.
Inside the house at the time were Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani — a former Army officer, their father Jagdish Patani — a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police, and their mother, Padma Patani. Fortunately, Bollywood actor Disha Patani herself was not present; she is currently in Mumbai for professional commitments.
Police teams rushed to the spot after Jagdish Patani alerted local authorities. Two empty cartridges were recovered from outside the gates of the residence, marking the first tangible evidence in the case. The Bareilly Police quickly cordoned off the area and placed security personnel at the property, with round-the-clock surveillance now in place to protect the family.
Gangster Network’s Threat
Soon after the firing, a chilling Facebook post surfaced under the banner of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang. The post not only claimed responsibility but also issued a veiled warning directed at the film industry at large.
The gang alleged that the attack was “punishment” for “derogatory comments” made by Disha Patani and her sister against Hindu spiritual leaders, specifically naming Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. In incendiary language, the post read: “This is only a trailer. Next time, if anyone shows any disrespect towards our religion, none will be spared.”
Further, the post declared: “We are prepared to go to any length to defend our religion. Dharma and society are one for us, and safeguarding them is our foremost duty.” The threatening message went beyond targeting the Patani family, suggesting that the gang had taken issue with the wider film industry.
Criminal Links and Tagging of Groups
In a deliberate move to showcase its alliances and spread fear, the Facebook post tagged several other known criminal syndicates and individuals, including Monu Group, AP Group, Kala Rana, Naresh Sethi, Tinu Haryana, and Amarjeet Bishnoi. By invoking these names, the gang seemed intent on projecting a united front of organised crime outfits aligned under the banner of “defending religious sentiments.”
Police officials noted that this strategy was part of a broader trend by gangs operating from India and abroad, particularly those with cross-border linkages, who exploit religious controversies to expand their influence and instil fear among citizens.
Police Action and Security Measures
Bareilly’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya confirmed the sequence of events and outlined the immediate measures taken.
“CCTV footage from nearby residences and establishments is being examined. Five dedicated teams have been formed to trace and apprehend the attackers. Alerts have been issued across the state regarding Goldy Brar and his associates,” Arya told reporters.
The SSP assured that the investigation was being handed over to the Crime Branch for specialised handling, given the notoriety of the gang involved and the potential implications of the threats. “The families are being provided full protection, and all possible angles, including the source of the online threat, are being examined,” he added.
The Goldy Brar Connection
Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster with close ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi network, has been implicated in multiple cases across India, including high-profile celebrity threats and targeted killings. Along with his associate Rohit Godara, he has often used social media to issue statements and warnings, amplifying his reach despite being on the run.
Security agencies have long flagged the growing nexus of such criminal syndicates with international operatives, pointing to how these outfits exploit religious and cultural fault lines to maintain relevance and legitimacy among certain groups.
Impact on Film Fraternity and Broader Society
For Bollywood, the incident adds to a series of threats and attacks linked to gangsters operating under the guise of defending cultural or religious values. In recent years, several actors, producers, and directors have been targeted with extortion threats or warnings for perceived slights against religious beliefs.
The fact that the Patani family has law enforcement and armed forces connections adds a particularly disturbing layer to the attack, raising concerns about whether these gangs are deliberately targeting families with a background in policing or defence to send a bolder message.
Rising Challenge for Law and Order
Experts argue that the attack underscores a growing challenge for Indian law enforcement: the convergence of criminal gangs, religious extremism, and social media propaganda. Unlike traditional criminal motives of extortion and territorial control, such incidents blend ideological justification with violent intimidation, complicating the task of investigators.
Former police officials noted that while the presence of ex-DSP Jagdish Patani in the family may provide the police with crucial insights into the case, it also reveals the audacity of gangs willing to strike at the homes of those connected to law enforcement.

As investigations continue, questions loom over how state and central agencies will tackle the rising confidence of gangs like Godara-Brar. With their messages openly posted on social media and links stretching across multiple states and even abroad, curbing their influence requires coordinated intelligence-sharing and tougher digital monitoring.
For now, the Patani family remains under tight police protection, with neighbours reporting heightened security presence in the Civil Lines area. Bollywood, meanwhile, watches anxiously, aware that the threat was not only personal to Disha Patani but also aimed at the entire film industry.
The incident at Bareilly highlights a disturbing intersection of celebrity culture, criminal intimidation, and religious sensitivities — a reminder of the fragile balance India must maintain between freedom of expression and the violent claims of those who seek to police it by the gun.
