Bikaner-Dadar Train Now Extended to Hanumangarh: Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Flags Off Service

Bikaner witnessed a major boost in rail connectivity on Sunday as the much-awaited extension of the Dadar–Lalgarh Express up to Hanumangarh was formally inaugurated. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal flagged off the extended service at Lalgarh Railway Station, marking a historic moment for the region.

The event was attended by prominent BJP leaders including Satyaprakash Acharya, Ashok Prajapat, Guman Singh Rajpurohit, and Divisional Railway Manager Gaurav Govil, along with a large gathering of enthusiastic citizens.

A New Link from Hanumangarh to Mumbai

With this extension, passengers from Lunkaransar, Mahajan, Suratgarh, Hanumangarh and surrounding areas will now have direct rail access to Mumbai, one of India’s biggest economic and cultural hubs. Until now, travelers from Hanumangarh had to rely on interchanging trains at Bikaner or other junctions, often leading to time delays and additional expenses.

The direct connection is expected to:

• Significantly reduce travel time.
• Enhance mobility for students, traders, farmers, and migrant workers.
• Strengthen business links between Rajasthan’s northern districts and Mumbai markets.

Vande Bharat Express from Bikaner Soon

In his address, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal made a major announcement, stating that Vande Bharat Express will soon be launched from Bikaner, with none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself expected to flag off the service.

“This expansion will transform the rail experience of the people of Hanumangarh-Bikaner belt. Direct access to Mumbai will not only benefit passengers but also open new horizons for trade, commerce, and employment. The upcoming Vande Bharat will add a new chapter of speed, comfort, and modernization in the region’s connectivity,” said Meghwal.

Boost to Trade and Employment

Experts believe that the extended train will bring significant socio-economic benefits. Farmers of northern Rajasthan will find it easier to transport agricultural produce and dairy products to larger markets, while small traders and business owners will gain direct access to Mumbai’s wholesale and export hubs. Employment opportunities for youth are also expected to expand with smoother connectivity.

The atmosphere at Lalgarh station was festive, with traditional songs, slogans, and cultural programs marking the occasion. For residents of Hanumangarh and Bikaner, this event was more than just the extension of a train service—it symbolized hope, growth, and the government’s focus on inclusive regional development.

बीकानेर। बीकानेर के रेल यात्रियों और पूरे उत्तर-पश्चिम राजस्थान के लिए रविवार का दिन ऐतिहासिक रहा। लंबे समय से प्रतीक्षित दादर-लालगढ़ एक्सप्रेस का विस्तार अब हनुमानगढ़ तक कर दिया गया है। केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल ने बीकानेर के लालगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन से इस ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया।

इस अवसर पर भाजपा नेता सत्य प्रकाश आचार्य, अशोक प्रजापत, गुमान सिंह राजपुरोहित और मंडल रेल प्रबंधक गौरव गोविल समेत बड़ी संख्या में लोग मौजूद रहे। पूरे स्टेशन परिसर में उल्लास और उत्साह का माहौल देखने को मिला।

अब हनुमानगढ़ से मुंबई तक सीधी सुविधा

इस विस्तार से लूणकरणसर, महाजन, सूरतगढ़, हनुमानगढ़ सहित पूरे इलाके के यात्रियों को सीधा मुंबई जाने की सुविधा मिल सकेगी। अब तक हनुमानगढ़ और आसपास के यात्रियों को मुंबई जाने के लिए बीकानेर या अन्य बड़े जंक्शनों पर ट्रेन बदलनी पड़ती थी। इस असुविधा से अब राहत मिलेगी।

यात्रियों और विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार इस ट्रेन विस्तार से:

• यात्रा समय की बचत होगी।
• छात्रों, किसानों, व्यापारियों और नौकरीपेशा लोगों को सीधा लाभ मिलेगा।
• मुंबई के साथ व्यापार और रोज़गार के नए अवसर खुलेंगे।

बीकानेर से जल्द दौड़ेगी वंदे भारत

कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल ने एक बड़ा ऐलान करते हुए कहा कि बीकानेर से जल्द ही वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस शुरू की जाएगी, जिसे स्वयं प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना करेंगे।

मेघवाल ने कहा, “बीकानेर-हनुमानगढ़ क्षेत्र के यात्रियों को अब सीधे मुंबई तक जाने की सुविधा मिलेगी। यह केवल एक ट्रेन विस्तार नहीं, बल्कि रोजगार और व्यापार के लिए एक नया अध्याय है। आने वाली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस इस क्षेत्र को तेज़, आधुनिक और आरामदायक यात्रा की सौगात देगी।”

क्षेत्रीय विकास की नई दिशा

विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इस ट्रेन विस्तार से किसानों को अपनी उपज और दुग्ध उत्पाद बड़े बाजारों तक आसानी से पहुंचाने का अवसर मिलेगा। वहीं छोटे व्यापारी और कारोबारी मुंबई के थोक बाजारों और निर्यात केंद्रों से सीधे जुड़ पाएंगे। रोजगार की संभावनाएं भी बढ़ेंगी।

लालगढ़ स्टेशन पर आयोजन एक उत्सव जैसा रहा, जहां पारंपरिक गीत-संगीत और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों ने माहौल को और भी खास बना दिया। हनुमानगढ़ और बीकानेर के लिए यह ट्रेन विस्तार केवल एक यात्रा सुविधा नहीं, बल्कि विकास और उम्मीदों की नई राह है।
