Bikaner Tax consultant Association Elections 2026: Two Candidates Each File Nominations for President and Secretary Posts
Polling to Be Held on July 3 at Udyog Bhawan; Candidates Focus on Strengthening the Association and Addressing Taxpayer Concerns

The election process for the Bikaner Tax consultant Association has officially gathered momentum with the completion of the nomination process for the upcoming organizational polls. Advocate Yogesh Popli told that The elections, which play an important role in shaping the leadership of the association representing tax professionals and advocates, witnessed a peaceful nomination exercise on Saturday. According to the Election Committee, two nominations have been filed for the post of President, while two candidates have also entered the contest for the post of Secretary, setting the stage for a competitive yet democratic election.
Election Committee Chairman Sohanlal Baid informed that the nomination process concluded smoothly without any untoward incident. He stated that all nominations were received as per the prescribed election schedule and procedures. The peaceful conduct of the nomination process reflects the professional spirit and democratic traditions maintained by the members of the Bikaner Tax consultant Association over the years.
The association has scheduled polling for July 3 at Udyog Bhawan, Bikaner, where members of the association will cast their votes to elect the new office bearers. Following the voting process, counting of votes will be conducted, and the results will be officially declared on the same day.
Speaking after filing his nomination papers, presidential candidate Advocate Y.P. Madan outlined his vision for the association. He stated that if elected by the members, his foremost priority would be to further strengthen and energize the organization while ensuring that it remains more active in addressing professional issues affecting tax practitioners.
Advocate Madan emphasized that one of his key objectives would be to remove misconceptions and confusion among traders and taxpayers regarding taxation and budget-related provisions. He said that awareness and proper understanding of tax laws are essential for ensuring better compliance and reducing unnecessary disputes. He also assured members that safeguarding their professional interests and resolving their day-to-day issues would remain among his highest priorities.
The upcoming election is expected to generate considerable interest among tax advocates and professionals associated with the association, as the newly elected leadership will be responsible for representing members before various government departments, addressing professional challenges, organizing seminars and awareness programmes, and promoting capacity building within the tax fraternity.
The Bikaner Tax consultant Association has traditionally played a significant role in creating awareness regarding taxation laws, GST compliance, direct and indirect taxes, and policy changes affecting businesses and professionals. The new executive committee is expected to continue working towards strengthening coordination between tax professionals, traders, and government authorities.
With nominations now complete, attention will shift toward campaigning and member outreach over the coming days. Candidates are expected to present their vision, priorities, and plans before the electorate ahead of the July 3 polling. बीकानेर टैक्स कंसलटेंट एसोसिएशन के आगामी चुनाव को लेकर संगठनात्मक गतिविधियां तेज हो गई हैं। एडवोकेट योगेश पोपली ने बताया कि शनिवार को नामांकन प्रक्रिया शांतिपूर्ण वातावरण में संपन्न हुई, जिसके साथ ही चुनावी मुकाबले की तस्वीर लगभग साफ हो गई है। एसोसिएशन के चुनाव न केवल संगठन के नए नेतृत्व का चयन करेंगे, बल्कि आने वाले समय में टैक्स अधिवक्ताओं, कर सलाहकारों तथा व्यापारिक वर्ग से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों की दिशा भी तय करेंगे।
चुनाव समिति के चेयरमैन सोहनलाल बैद ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि अध्यक्ष पद के लिए दो उम्मीदवारों ने अपने-अपने नामांकन पत्र दाखिल किए हैं, जबकि मंत्री पद के लिए भी दो प्रत्याशी चुनावी मैदान में उतर चुके हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि संपूर्ण नामांकन प्रक्रिया निर्धारित कार्यक्रम के अनुसार शांतिपूर्ण एवं सुव्यवस्थित तरीके से संपन्न हुई तथा किसी प्रकार की अव्यवस्था या विवाद की स्थिति सामने नहीं आई।
उन्होंने बताया कि बीकानेर टैक्स कंसल्टेंट एसोसिएशन के चुनाव 3 जुलाई को उद्योग भवन में आयोजित किए जाएंगे। मतदान प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद मतों की गणना की जाएगी और उसी दिन परिणामों की घोषणा कर नई कार्यकारिणी के गठन की औपचारिक प्रक्रिया पूरी की जाएगी।
अध्यक्ष पद के प्रत्याशी एडवोकेट वाई.पी. मदान ने नामांकन दाखिल करने के बाद अपने विचार साझा करते हुए कहा कि यदि एसोसिएशन के सदस्य उन्हें अपना समर्थन देते हैं तो उनकी पहली प्राथमिकता संगठन को और अधिक मजबूत, प्रभावशाली तथा सक्रिय बनाना होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में टैक्स व्यवस्था लगातार बदल रही है और बजट के बाद व्यापारियों एवं करदाताओं के बीच अनेक प्रकार की भ्रांतियां और शंकाएं उत्पन्न हो जाती हैं। ऐसे में एसोसिएशन की जिम्मेदारी केवल अधिवक्ताओं तक सीमित नहीं रह जाती, बल्कि व्यापारिक समुदाय को सही जानकारी उपलब्ध कराना भी उतना ही आवश्यक है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यदि उन्हें नेतृत्व का अवसर मिलता है तो वे बजट और कर कानूनों से संबंधित जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करने, व्यापारियों एवं करदाताओं के बीच फैली गलतफहमियों को दूर करने तथा टैक्स संबंधी प्रक्रियाओं को सरल भाषा में समझाने के लिए विशेष प्रयास करेंगे। इसके साथ ही एसोसिएशन के प्रत्येक सदस्य के हितों की रक्षा, उनकी व्यावसायिक समस्याओं का समाधान तथा विभागीय स्तर पर आने वाली कठिनाइयों को संबंधित अधिकारियों के समक्ष प्रभावी ढंग से उठाना उनकी प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल रहेगा।
बीकानेर टैक्स कंसल्टेंट एसोसिएशन लंबे समय से कर कानूनों, जीएसटी, प्रत्यक्ष एवं अप्रत्यक्ष कर व्यवस्था, बजट प्रावधानों और व्यापारिक समुदाय से जुड़े विभिन्न विषयों पर महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता रहा है। एसोसिएशन समय-समय पर सेमिनार, कार्यशालाओं और जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर अपने सदस्यों के ज्ञानवर्धन के साथ-साथ व्यापारिक समुदाय को भी नई कर नीतियों की जानकारी उपलब्ध कराता रहा है।
अब नामांकन प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद चुनाव प्रचार का दौर शुरू होगा। सभी प्रत्याशी आगामी दिनों में एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों से संपर्क कर अपने विजन और प्राथमिकताओं को साझा करेंगे। 3 जुलाई को उद्योग भवन में होने वाला मतदान बीकानेर टैक्स कंसल्टेंट एसोसिएशन की नई कार्यकारिणी का भविष्य तय करेगा और यह भी निर्धारित करेगा कि आने वाले कार्यकाल में संगठन किस दिशा में आगे बढ़ेगा तथा अपने सदस्यों एवं करदाताओं के हितों के लिए किस प्रकार कार्य करेगा।
