Commemorating Gandhi Jayanti: Indian Army Leads Tree Plantation and Medical Initiatives in Manipur

गांधी जयंती के अवसर पर भारतीय सेना ने मणिपुर के चुराचंदपुर और बिश्नुपुर जिलों में समाजिक सेवा और पर्यावरण संरक्षण को समर्पित विशेष कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए। इस अवसर पर वृक्षारोपण और स्वास्थ्य शिविरों का आयोजन किया गया, जो स्थानीय समुदायों के कल्याण और सतत विकास के प्रति सेना की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाते हैं।
कार्यक्रमों के दौरान, टुइकांग क्लस्टर, टुइकांग प्राथमिक विद्यालय, टीई पॉल मेमोरियल हाई स्कूल, कुंबी संधोंग रिलीफ कैंप और बीके गोल्डन अकादमी सहित विभिन्न स्थानों पर 750 से अधिक पौधे लगाए गए। ये वृक्षारोपण कार्य बिश्नुपुर वन विभाग के सहयोग से आयोजित किए गए और इसमें ग्रामीणों, स्वयंसेवकों और स्कूल के बच्चों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी दिखाई। इन स्थलों का चयन इस दृष्टि से किया गया कि बच्चों, शिक्षा केंद्रों और राहत शिविरों में पर्यावरण संरक्षण और जागरूकता का संदेश व्यापक स्तर पर पहुंच सके।
