ESM RALLY ORGANISED AT 39 GORKHA CENTRE: A GRAND SUCCESS ELEVATING SUPPORT FOR UTTAR PRADESH VETERANS

The 39 Gorkha Training Centre under the aegis of HQ Madhya Bharat Area proudly announces the successful completion of the remarkable Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally, held on 02 March 2024 dedicated to provide comprehensive support, assure upliftment and assistance to our esteemed veterans in Varanasi and surrounding districts.

The event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation of more than thousand veterans and their families, served as a platform to address their varied needs and concerns. Few of the notable highlights of the event were the Sparsh Sahayata Kendra, Medical Assistance, Skill Development Workshops and felicitation of Veer Naris. The dedicated facilities aimed at providing essential services and assistance to veterans. The ESM Cell stands as a beacon of hope and support, offering a wide range of services to cater to the diverse requirements of our veterans.

The mega rally was graced by the esteemed presence of Lieutenant General PS Shekhawat, AVSM, SM, GOC Madhya Bharat Area, as the chief guest. Maj General JS Bainsla, SM, GOC PUP and MP Sub Area and Brigadier Anirban Datta, SM, Commandant 39 Gorkha Training Centre were also in attendance adding to the significance of the event. The senior veterans Maj Gen Ashok Kumar Singh (Retd) and Subedar Anwaruddin (Retd) were also present at the mega rally.

The aim of the rally was to tell the veterans that we care deeply about their well-being and their sacrifices will always be remembered. Moreover, the rally aimed to resolve their grievances, provide them with job opportunities, and raise awareness about various welfare schemes available to them which was achieved.

During the event, the chief guest acknowledged the efforts of Ex-servicemen, attentively heard their problems, and assured them that their concerns would be addressed promptly. The ESM Rally not only facilitated crucial interactions between veterans and authorities but also paved the way for enhanced collaboration and solidarity within the ex-servicemen community. It provided a platform for veterans to voice their concerns, access essential resources, and foster a sense of camaraderie among peers.

The Madhya Bharat Area extended its heartfelt gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and stakeholders for their unwavering support and contribution towards making the ESM Rally a resounding success.
