FICCI Announces AMMO INDIA 2024: A Pivotal Conference on Military Ammunition and Defence Innovation
New Delhi, August 4, 2024 – The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is set to host AMMO INDIA 2024: Conference on Military Ammunition, Make in India – Make for the World, on August 8, 2024, at FICCI Federation House in New Delhi. This pivotal event aims to strengthen India’s position as a leading global supplier of ammunition, aligning with the country’s vision to secure up to 30% of the global arms market.
AMMO INDIA 2024 will address the critical role of ammunition in combat equipment and arms and will showcase India’s potential to enhance its indigenous manufacturing capabilities. The conference will emphasize the need for self-reliance in ammunition production to address geopolitical uncertainties, high costs, and supply chain challenges.
With KPMG as the knowledge partner, the conference will cover key themes including ammunition for tanks, artillery munitions, air defence systems, naval and small arms, and futuristic munitions. The event will also provide a platform for collaboration between the Indian Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, defense public sector undertakings, private sector OEMs, startups, and international defense attaches.
Participants can look forward to an engaging agenda featuring five comprehensive sessions, including:
