The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially commenced the application process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2025, inviting eligible candidates to apply online starting December 2, 2024. Aspirants interested in joining the IAF can submit their applications through the official website, afcat.cdac.in. The deadline for application submissions is set for December 31, 2024.

This recruitment drive encompasses a total of 336 vacancies distributed across various branches, including the Flying Branch and Ground Duty branches, which consist of both Technical and Non-Technical roles. Additionally, special entry programs such as the NCC Special Entry and Meteorology Entry are also part of this recruitment cycle. The specific breakdown of vacancies is as follows: there are 30 openings in the Flying Branch, 189 in Ground Duty (Technical), and 117 in Ground Duty (Non-Technical).

Candidates applying for the Flying Branch must be between the ages of 20 and 24 as of the course start date, while those seeking positions in Ground Duty should be aged between 20 and 26. It is important to note that only single candidates are eligible to apply for these courses.

The application process requires interested candidates to pay a registration fee of Rs 550 along with GST. To apply, candidates should follow these steps:
