J&K: Several Police Officers Transferred, IPS Vikas Gupta Made DIG, ACB

In a latest reshuffle, several police officers have been transferred across Jammu and Kashmir. Among the transferees are a DIG, two Superintendents of Police (SPs) and five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).

Senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Prisons, Mr. Vikas Gupta (2010 batch AGMUT cadre), has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K.

Two Superintendents of Police (SPs), Mr. Amit Verma (JKPS) and Mr. Surinder Kumar (JKPS), were transferred and posted in the Anti-Corruption Bureau with immediate effect.

And, five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), Mr. Narinder Singh; Ms. Shwetambri Sharma; Mr. Davinder Singh; Mr. Mudasir Tramboo and Mr. Imran Malik were transferred and posted in the Anti Corruption Bureau.
