Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander Sapta Shakti Command flagged off the Hearts to Bravehearts Car Rally from Prerna Sthal at Saptha Sakthi Command, Jaipur on 09 July 2024.

The rally is being organised to Commemorate the momentous occasion of “Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav of Kargil Vijay Diwas”. The ‘HEARTS TO BRAVEHEARTS’ campaign  car rally is a pan India rally and  began its journey from Kibithu in East, Kochi in South and Tanot in West with a team of ten members and nine supporting staff on nine vehicles each. The team will converge at Delhi and finally culminate at Kargil War Memorial, traversing a distance of 10,000 Kms. The rally aims to pay tribute to the brave hearts of the Kargil War.

The Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Jaipur Military Station on 09 July 2024 included a poignant unboxing ceremony, where boxes collected by the rally team enroute with thank you messages by citizens expressing gratitude to bravehearts were unboxed and read out. This heartfelt gesture acknowledged the immeasurable sacrifices of the soldiers and honoured their valour and selflessness for the nation.

On this occasion Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, addressed the gathering. He lauded the triumph of our brave soldiers who under difficult weather and adverse terrain conditions fought and achieved decisive victory during Kargil Operation. He paid tribute to all the soldiers who fought valiantly to protect our motherland and emphasised that The Kargil Vijay was a testament to the indomitable spirit, courage and selfness of our soldiers. Army Commander wished the Rally team a safe and successful journey.
