महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र ने लाल बहादुर शास्त्री अस्पताल में 50 नवप्रसूता माताओं को शिशु किट वितरित की, मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य के प्रति किया जागरूक
नई दिल्ली: महावीर इंटरनेशनल के वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र द्वारा 9 जुलाई 2026 को लाल बहादुर शास्त्री अस्पताल में शिशु किट वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस सेवा कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य नवजात शिशुओं एवं नवप्रसूता माताओं के स्वास्थ्य, स्वच्छता और सुरक्षित देखभाल के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना था।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान वीरा केंद्र की सदस्यों ने नवप्रसूता माताओं से संवाद करते हुए उन्हें व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता, संक्रमण से बचाव तथा नवजात शिशुओं की उचित देखभाल के बारे में महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी। माताओं को बताया गया कि शिशुओं को हमेशा साफ एवं स्वच्छ कपड़े पहनाना, स्वच्छ वातावरण में रखना तथा समय-समय पर स्वास्थ्य संबंधी सावधानियां अपनाना उनके बेहतर स्वास्थ्य और विकास के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है। साथ ही माताओं को प्रसव के बाद स्वयं की स्वच्छता और स्वास्थ्य का विशेष ध्यान रखने के लिए भी प्रेरित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर 50 नवप्रसूता माताओं को शिशु किट वितरित की गईं, जिनमें नवजात शिशुओं के उपयोग की आवश्यक सामग्री शामिल थी। इस पहल का उद्देश्य जरूरतमंद परिवारों को सहयोग प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना था।
कार्यक्रम में चेयरपर्सन वीरा नीलू जैन, सचिव वीरा प्रेक्षा जैन, वीरा विनीता जैन तथा वीरा स्वाति जैन ने सक्रिय सहभागिता निभाई। सभी ने माताओं का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए उन्हें स्वस्थ एवं सुरक्षित मातृत्व अपनाने का संदेश दिया।
महावीर इंटरनेशनल वीरा पूर्वी दिल्ली केंद्र का यह सेवा अभियान मातृ एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य को प्रोत्साहित करने, नवजात शिशुओं की बेहतर देखभाल के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने तथा समाज के जरूरतमंद वर्ग तक सेवा पहुंचाने की दिशा में एक सराहनीय पहल साबित हुआ।
Mahavir International Veera East Delhi Centre Distributes Baby Care Kits to 50 New Mothers at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital
New Delhi: Mahavir International’s Veera East Delhi Centre organised a Baby Care Kit Distribution Programme at Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital on July 9, 2026, to promote maternal and newborn health awareness.
During the programme, members of the Veera Centre interacted with new mothers and provided guidance on personal hygiene, infection prevention, postnatal care, and proper newborn care. They highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness, dressing babies in clean clothes, and ensuring a hygienic environment for healthy growth and development. Mothers were also encouraged to follow essential hygiene practices to safeguard their own health after childbirth.
As part of the initiative, 50 new mothers received baby care kits containing essential items for newborn care. The programme aimed to support underprivileged families while spreading awareness about safe motherhood and infant healthcare.
The event was attended by Chairperson Veera Neelu Jain, Secretary Veera Preksha Jain, Veera Vinita Jain, and Veera Swati Jain, who actively participated, interacted with the beneficiaries, and encouraged them to adopt healthy childcare and maternal care practices.
The initiative reflected Mahavir International Veera East Delhi Centre’s continued commitment to community service, maternal well-being, and improving newborn healthcare through awareness and support.
