Major Healthcare Milestone at Jaipur Military Station: State-of-the-Art Cardiac Catheterisation Lab Inaugurated
Jaipur, 03 July 2025: In a landmark development set to redefine healthcare services for military personnel and their families in Rajasthan, a state-of-the-art Biplane Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (CCL), the first of its kind in Jaipur city, was inaugurated today at the Military Hospital (MH) Jaipur by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command.
With this facility, Military Hospital Jaipur has joined the elite list of zonal and command-level hospitals across India equipped with such niche medical infrastructure. This new development significantly enhances the cardiac care capabilities of MH Jaipur, providing comprehensive cardiac diagnosis and treatment under one roof to soldiers, veterans, and their dependents stationed not only in Jaipur but across the entire area of responsibility of the South Western Command.
Revolutionising Cardiac Care for the Armed Forces
The cutting-edge CCL will cater to both emergency and chronic cardiac ailments and will facilitate a wide range of critical cardiac interventions, including:
- Coronary Angiography
- Angioplasty
- Pacemaker Implantation
- Shock Devices & Shock Therapy
- Cardiac Desynchronisation
- Coronary Imaging
- Electrophysiology Studies
- Structural Cardiac Interventions
With this, MH Jaipur is poised to evolve into a premier tertiary cardiac care centre offering nearly all modern cardiac care procedures, thus reducing dependency on civilian hospitals and ensuring timely, life-saving interventions for troops and families.
Army’s Commitment to Holistic Healthcare Under Sapta Shakti Command
Under the able leadership and guidance of Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, the Sapta Shakti Command has consistently prioritised health and wellness for all ranks and their families.
In December 2024, an Early Intervention Centre was established at MH Jaipur. The centre provides a wide range of essential services, including:
- Paediatrician Consultation
- Psychiatric Services
- Physiotherapy
- Speech Therapy
- Special Education Support
- Clinical Psychology
These services are being optimally utilised, providing crucial early support for children and family members, and addressing mental health, developmental, and physical well-being comprehensively.
Expanding Access through Outreach and Integrated Health Centres
Over the past 12 months, MH Jaipur has conducted 32 Outreach Programmes, directly benefiting the armed forces community. These include:
- Cataract Surgery Camps benefiting over 250 patients
- Cancer Screening Camps
- Blood Donation Drives
- Mental Health Counselling Sessions
These initiatives have been met with overwhelming patient participation, reflecting the trust and satisfaction of the troops and their families in the military healthcare system.
To efficiently manage the increasing patient inflow, two Integrated Health Centres have also been established near Pratap Lines and Tanot Brigade, ensuring accessible and decentralised medical facilities. Additionally, a Patient Transit Facility has been set up to provide comfort and accommodation for attendants and next-of-kin accompanying patients undergoing treatment.

The Army Commander lauded the unwavering support of the Veterans’ community, whose contributions and cooperation continue to strengthen the health and welfare infrastructure for serving personnel and their families. With their continued involvement, Sapta Shakti Command is committed to ensuring a healthier, more resilient future for all members of the defence community.
The inauguration of the Biplane CCL at MH Jaipur is a testament to the Indian Army’s focus on operational readiness, welfare, and the holistic health of its soldiers — reinforcing the belief that a healthy soldier is a nation’s strongest shield.
जयपुर मिलिट्री स्टेशन में स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की ऐतिहासिक पहल: अत्याधुनिक कार्डियक कैथेटराइजेशन लैब का उद्घाटन
जयपुर, 03 जुलाई 2025। राजस्थान में तैनात सैनिकों, पूर्व सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के लिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को नई ऊंचाई देने वाली ऐतिहासिक पहल के तहत आज जयपुर मिलिट्री हॉस्पिटल (एमएच जयपुर) में प्रदेश की पहली अत्याधुनिक बाइप्लेन कार्डियक कैथेटराइजेशन लैब (CCL) का उद्घाटन किया गया। यह गौरवशाली उपलब्धि दक्षिण पश्चिम कमान के आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह द्वारा संपन्न हुई।
इस सुविधा के शुरू होने के साथ ही मिलिट्री हॉस्पिटल जयपुर अब उन चुनिंदा जोनल और कमांड अस्पतालों की सूची में शामिल हो गया है, जहां हृदय रोगों के निदान एवं उपचार की अत्याधुनिक एवं समग्र सुविधा उपलब्ध है। यह विकास विशेष रूप से राजस्थान में तैनात सैन्यकर्मियों, उनके आश्रितों और पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में क्रांतिकारी परिवर्तन लेकर आएगा।
हृदय रोगों के उपचार में बड़ा कदम
यह अत्याधुनिक कार्डियक लैब आपातकालीन और पुरानी हृदय संबंधी बीमारियों के लिए हर प्रकार की जटिल चिकित्सा प्रक्रियाओं की सुविधा प्रदान करेगी, जिनमें शामिल हैं:
- कोरोनरी एंजियोग्राफी
- एंजियोप्लास्टी
- पेसमेकर इंप्लांटेशन
- शॉक डिवाइस और शॉक थेरेपी
- कार्डियक डीसिंक्रोनाइजेशन

अब एमएच जयपुर में एक ही छत के नीचे लगभग सभी आधुनिक हृदय उपचार सुविधाएं उपलब्ध हो सकेंगी, जिससे सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों को नागरिक अस्पतालों पर निर्भर नहीं रहना पड़ेगा और समय रहते जीवन रक्षक इलाज मिल सकेगा।
सप्त शक्ति कमांड की स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं में उल्लेखनीय प्रगति
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह के नेतृत्व में सप्त शक्ति कमांड ने स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को मजबूत करने के लिए कई अभिनव कदम उठाए हैं। दिसंबर 2024 में एमएच जयपुर में एक अत्याधुनिक अर्ली इंटरवेंशन सेंटर की स्थापना की गई, जिसमें निम्न सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं:
- बाल रोग विशेषज्ञ
- मनोचिकित्सक
- फिजियोथेरेपी
- स्पीच थैरेपी
- विशेष शिक्षा सहायता
- क्लिनिकल साइकोलॉजी
यह केंद्र बच्चों, परिवारों और सैनिकों के मानसिक, शारीरिक एवं विकास संबंधी स्वास्थ्य के लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध हो रहा है।
आउटरीच कार्यक्रम एवं एकीकृत स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों का विस्तार
पिछले 12 महीनों में एमएच जयपुर ने कुल 32 आउटरीच कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए, जिनमें शामिल हैं:
- मोतियाबिंद सर्जरी शिविर, जिसमें 250 से अधिक रोगियों का मुफ्त इलाज हुआ
- कैंसर स्क्रीनिंग शिविर
- रक्तदान शिविर
- मानसिक स्वास्थ्य परामर्श सत्र
इन कार्यक्रमों में जबरदस्त भागीदारी देखी गई, जिससे सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों में संतुष्टि का स्तर उल्लेखनीय रूप से बढ़ा है।
रोगियों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी को देखते हुए प्रताप लाइन्स और तनोट ब्रिगेड के पास दो एकीकृत स्वास्थ्य केंद्र स्थापित किए गए हैं, जिससे दूर-दराज में तैनात सैनिकों को समय पर चिकित्सा सेवा मिल रही है। इसके अलावा, मरीजों के साथ आने वाले परिजनों के ठहरने की सुविधा के लिए एक पेशेंट ट्रांजिट सुविधा भी विकसित की गई है।
पूर्व सैनिकों के सहयोग से सशक्त हो रही स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं
लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने पूर्व सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के निरंतर सहयोग के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए आश्वस्त किया कि सप्त शक्ति कमांड भविष्य में भी सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों के लिए स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देता रहेगा।
जयपुर में बाइप्लेन सीसीएल की स्थापना भारतीय सेना की सैनिक पहले नीति का एक मजबूत उदाहरण है, जो साबित करता है कि एक स्वस्थ सैनिक ही राष्ट्र की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है।
