Morning at Select City Walk – The Global Face of Delhi
The journey began in the bustling district of Saket at the iconic Select City Walk Mall. Known for its cosmopolitan energy, the mall provided participants with a glimpse into Delhi’s evolving identity as a global metropolis. The experience was not just about shopping and leisure but also about understanding how modern urban spaces have become melting pots of cultures, reflecting India’s progress and openness to the world.
Here, participants interacted with visitors and engaged in conversations that highlighted how global lifestyles and traditional Indian values coexist seamlessly in the national capital. The exposure underscored the importance of adaptability and inclusivity in building a modern India.
Northeastern Culinary Journey at Arunachal Bhavan
From the glitz of Saket, the group transitioned to the earthy flavors of India’s Northeast at Arunachal Bhavan. A specially prepared traditional lunch offered participants a taste of authentic dishes, rich with indigenous ingredients and culinary techniques. For many, it was their first encounter with Northeastern cuisine, and the experience became a symbolic bridge connecting diverse cultural identities.
As they savored delicacies like smoked meats, bamboo shoot curries, and unique rice preparations, participants also gained insights into the traditions, festivals, and customs of Arunachal Pradesh and the wider Northeastern region. The afternoon brought participants face-to-face with India’s historical legacy of scientific innovation at the Jantar Mantar. Built in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, the observatory remains a testament to India’s early advancements in astronomy and time-keeping.
Guides explained the intricate workings of instruments like the Samrat Yantra and Rama Yantra, helping participants appreciate how India’s past was marked not just by cultural brilliance but also by scientific curiosity. For the youth, this visit became a reminder that India’s intellectual heritage continues to inspire modern scientific endeavors.
The Pulse of Modern Delhi – Connaught Place, Central Park, and Barakhamba Road
As the day moved towards its conclusion, participants entered the bustling heart of Delhi—Connaught Place. Its colonial-era architecture blended with contemporary commercial energy created a fascinating juxtaposition of history and modernity. At Central Park, the green lungs of the capital, the group witnessed cultural performances and interacted with local citizens, experiencing how urban spaces bring people together.
The final stretch took them to Barakhamba Road, a hub of corporate and cultural dynamism. The gleaming skyscrapers and modern infrastructure stood in contrast yet in harmony with the traditional sites they had visited earlier. देश की राजधानी दिल्ली ने राष्ट्रीय एकता यात्रा 2025 के प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत अपनी बहुरंगी पहचान के साथ किया। दिनभर के इस खास कार्यक्रम में युवा प्रतिभागियों ने आधुनिक शहरी जीवन, परंपरागत व्यंजन, वैज्ञानिक धरोहर और ऐतिहासिक स्थलों का अनुभव लिया। यह यात्रा केवल दिल्ली-दर्शन नहीं थी, बल्कि भारत की “विविधता में एकता” की भावना को जीने का एक अवसर थी।
सकेत का सिलेक्ट सिटी वॉक – वैश्विक दिल्ली की झलक
दिन की शुरुआत दिल्ली के सकेत स्थित सिलेक्ट सिटी वॉक मॉल से हुई। आधुनिकता और वैश्विक जीवनशैली का प्रतीक यह स्थान दिल्ली की बदलती पहचान और विश्व से जुड़ते कदमों का परिचायक है। प्रतिभागियों ने यहां यह अनुभव किया कि किस तरह शहरी जीवन में भारतीय परंपराएँ और वैश्विक संस्कृति साथ-साथ पनप रही हैं।
यह अनुभव केवल मनोरंजन तक सीमित नहीं रहा, बल्कि इसने युवाओं को यह भी दिखाया कि आधुनिक भारत कैसे परंपरा और नवाचार को एक सूत्र में पिरोकर आगे बढ़ रहा है।
अरुणाचल भवन का स्वाद – उत्तर-पूर्व की थाली से जुड़ाव
इसके बाद यात्रा का अगला पड़ाव था अरुणाचल भवन, जहां प्रतिभागियों को पारंपरिक उत्तर-पूर्वी व्यंजनों का स्वाद चखने का अवसर मिला। स्मोक्ड मीट, बांस की कोपलों की सब्ज़ी और विशेष चावल के पकवान जैसी डिशेज़ ने न केवल स्वाद की नई दुनिया खोली बल्कि अरुणाचल प्रदेश और उत्तर-पूर्व की समृद्ध परंपराओं की झलक भी दी।
इस अनुभव ने यह संदेश दिया कि भारत की एकता केवल भावनाओं में ही नहीं बल्कि उसकी रसोई और विविध खाद्य परंपराओं में भी गहराई से बसी हुई है।
जंतर-मंतर – विज्ञान और परंपरा का मेल
दोपहर में प्रतिभागी पहुंचे जंतर-मंतर, जहां उन्होंने भारत की वैज्ञानिक और खगोलीय धरोहर को करीब से जाना। महाराजा जयसिंह द्वितीय द्वारा 1724 में निर्मित इस वेधशाला में मौजूद सम्राट यंत्र और राम यंत्र जैसे उपकरणों ने यह याद दिलाया कि भारत केवल सांस्कृतिक रूप से ही नहीं, बल्कि वैज्ञानिक दृष्टि से भी समृद्ध रहा है।
यह पड़ाव युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणादायक रहा, जिसने उन्हें बताया कि आधुनिक भारत के वैज्ञानिक प्रयास भी उसी विरासत पर आधारित हैं, जो सदियों पहले हमारे पूर्वजों ने रची थी।
कनॉट प्लेस और बराखंभा – आधुनिक दिल्ली की धड़कन
शाम को यात्रा का रुख हुआ दिल्ली के दिल कनॉट प्लेस की ओर। औपनिवेशिक वास्तुकला से घिरा यह इलाका आज आधुनिक व्यापार और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों का केंद्र है। प्रतिभागियों ने सेंट्रल पार्क में लोगों से संवाद किया, सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों का आनंद लिया और महसूस किया कि शहरी जीवन किस तरह विविध समुदायों को जोड़ता है।
इसके बाद प्रतिभागी पहुंचे बराखंभा रोड, जहां ऊंची-ऊंची इमारतें और आधुनिक ढांचा दिल्ली के भविष्य का प्रतीक नजर आया। यह अनुभव बताता है कि किस तरह दिल्ली अतीत की धरोहर और वर्तमान की प्रगति के बीच संतुलन साधे हुए है।
यात्रा का उद्देश्य – विविधता से एकता का सबक

एक ही दिन में प्रतिभागियों ने आधुनिक मॉल की चकाचौंध देखी, उत्तर-पूर्व के स्वाद का आनंद लिया, सदियों पुराने वैज्ञानिक चमत्कारों को समझा और आधुनिक शहरी जीवन की धड़कन को महसूस किया। इन सब अनुभवों ने उन्हें यह सिखाया कि भारत की सबसे बड़ी ताक़त उसकी विविधता और समावेशिता में छिपी है।
दिन के अंत में प्रतिभागियों ने केवल स्मृतियाँ ही नहीं, बल्कि एक गहरा संदेश अपने साथ लिया – भारत की आत्मा उसकी एकता में है, और यह एकता उसकी विविधताओं से ही जन्म लेती है।
