Union Home Minister Amit Shah Addresses NDA Cadets: Emphasises National Pride and Military Resolve

In a powerful display of encouragement and nationalistic fervour, Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah visited the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune, where he engaged in a spirited interaction with cadets who represent the future of India’s military leadership.
The visit comes at a crucial juncture when India continues to enhance its defence preparedness amid evolving regional and global security challenges. The National Defence Academy, known as the cradle of military leadership, has been instrumental in shaping officers for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force — and today, it witnessed an inspiring address that resonated with every cadet present.
A Tribute to Courage, Service, and National Duty
Addressing the cadets, Shri Amit Shah lauded their unwavering commitment to the nation, reminding them of the sacred responsibility they shoulder in safeguarding India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He expressed immense pride in their discipline, dedication, and indomitable spirit, which symbolise the core values of the Indian Armed Forces.
“In you, I see the future generals, admirals, and air marshals who will steer India through every challenge. Your courage and resolve are the foundation of this great nation’s security. Uphold the highest ideals of service, patriotism, and resilience,” Shah remarked.
India’s Security Landscape and the NDA’s Role
In his address, the Home Minister underscored the critical role of the Indian Armed Forces in an era marked by complex security dynamics. He highlighted how threats to national security are evolving beyond conventional warfare, with cyber threats, terrorism, and hybrid warfare becoming prominent challenges.
“The world is changing rapidly. Our Armed Forces are expected not only to defend our borders but to be prepared for challenges in space, cyberspace, and emerging domains of warfare. Institutions like the NDA play a vital role in preparing future leaders to face these threats with courage, knowledge, and technological proficiency,” Shah stated.
Message of National Unity and Patriotism
Shri Amit Shah also called upon the cadets to embody the spirit of national unity and to remain steadfast in their commitment to the ideals enshrined in the Constitution of India. He emphasized that every soldier, sailor, and airman represents not just military might but the collective aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians.
“As guardians of the nation, your uniform signifies discipline, sacrifice, and national pride. The people of India sleep peacefully at night because of your determination to stand tall in the face of adversity. Always remember that your service is the highest form of devotion to Mother India,” Shah declared, drawing loud applause from the cadets.
Strengthening India’s Defence Preparedness
The Home Minister’s visit is being seen as part of the broader efforts of the central government to boost morale among the Armed Forces and reaffirm its commitment to strengthening India’s defence infrastructure. Over the past few years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has significantly enhanced defence budgets, accelerated indigenous defence production, and modernised the Armed Forces to meet 21st-century challenges.
The NDA, established in 1954, has consistently produced military leaders of the highest calibre, many of whom have gone on to lead India during critical conflicts and global peacekeeping missions. The institution’s rigorous training programmes, academic excellence, and focus on physical and mental endurance make it one of the finest military academies in the world.

गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने एनडीए कैडेट्स से की मुलाकात, देशभक्ति और सैन्य संकल्प का दिया संदेश

देश की रक्षा तैयारियों और भविष्य के सैन्य नेतृत्व को मजबूती देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम के तहत केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री श्री अमित शाह ने आज पुणे स्थित राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) का दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने कैडेट्स से संवाद किया और देशभक्ति, साहस और अनुशासन के मूल्यों को अपनाने का आह्वान किया।
एनडीए, जो सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना के अधिकारियों को तैयार करने वाली विश्व स्तरीय संस्था है, में गृहमंत्री की यह प्रेरणादायक उपस्थिति उन तमाम कैडेट्स के लिए गर्व का पल थी, जो देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा का सपना संजोए हुए हैं।
साहस, सेवा और कर्तव्य को दी श्रद्धांजलि
कैडेट्स को संबोधित करते हुए श्री शाह ने उनकी देशभक्ति, अनुशासन और दृढ़ संकल्प की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा, “आप सभी में मैं भारत के भविष्य के जनरल, एडमिरल और एयर मार्शल देख रहा हूं। आपकी मेहनत और समर्पण इस देश की सुरक्षा की आधारशिला है। सेवा, देशभक्ति और साहस के उच्चतम मूल्यों को अपनाएं।”
रक्षा क्षेत्र में बदलते परिदृश्य की चर्चा
गृहमंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में बदलते वैश्विक परिदृश्य और भारत की सुरक्षा चुनौतियों पर भी विस्तार से बात की। उन्होंने कहा कि सीमाओं की रक्षा के साथ-साथ अब साइबर हमलों, आतंकवाद और उभरते तकनीकी खतरों से भी निपटने की आवश्यकता है।
“विश्व तेजी से बदल रहा है। हमारी सेनाओं से अब केवल पारंपरिक युद्ध नहीं बल्कि साइबर स्पेस, आकाशीय क्षेत्र और तकनीकी मोर्चों पर भी सजग रहने की अपेक्षा है। एनडीए जैसी संस्थाएं ही हमारे भविष्य के सैन्य नेतृत्व को इन चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए सक्षम बना रही हैं,” श्री शाह ने कहा।
राष्ट्रभक्ति और एकता का संदेश
श्री शाह ने कैडेट्स से भारतीय संविधान के आदर्शों के प्रति निष्ठावान रहने और राष्ट्रीय एकता के सूत्र में बंधे रहने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्दी केवल शक्ति का नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, त्याग और जन-आस्था का प्रतीक है।
“देश की सीमाओं की रक्षा करना ही नहीं, बल्कि भारत की एकता, अखंडता और गरिमा को बनाए रखना भी आपकी जिम्मेदारी है। आपकी निष्ठा, अनुशासन और साहस ही देशवासियों के चैन की नींद की वजह है,” शाह ने कहा।
रक्षा क्षेत्र में ऐतिहासिक सुधार
गृहमंत्री की यह यात्रा केंद्र सरकार द्वारा देश की रक्षा क्षमताओं को आधुनिक बनाने और सशस्त्र बलों का मनोबल बढ़ाने के क्रम में एक महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी मानी जा रही है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में सरकार ने बीते वर्षों में रक्षा बजट में ऐतिहासिक बढ़ोतरी, स्वदेशी रक्षा उत्पादन को बढ़ावा और सेना के आधुनिकीकरण को प्राथमिकता दी है।
एनडीए, जो 1954 में स्थापित हुई थी, अब तक देश को हजारों सैन्य अधिकारी दे चुकी है जिन्होंने भारत की सीमाओं की रक्षा में अहम भूमिका निभाई है। यहां कठोर प्रशिक्षण, शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता और मानसिक-शारीरिक मजबूती पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाता है।
कैडेट्स में जोश और उत्साह
गृहमंत्री के संवाद से कैडेट्स में नया जोश और संकल्प देखने को मिला। एक कैडेट ने कहा, “गृहमंत्री जी के शब्दों ने हमारी जिम्मेदारी का एहसास और भी गहरा कर दिया। हम वचन देते हैं कि देश की सेवा और सम्मान के लिए पूरी निष्ठा से कार्य करेंगे।”
भारत को मजबूत और सुरक्षित बनाने का संकल्प
श्री अमित शाह ने अपने संबोधन के अंत में सभी कैडेट्स से आह्वान किया कि वे अपने व्यवहार, नेतृत्व और समर्पण से राष्ट्र की रक्षा करें और भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की परंपरा को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाएं।
