श्रीगंगानगर: सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF) ने दिनांक 2-3 अप्रैल 2025 की रात्रि को श्रीकरणपुर सेक्टर में भारत-पाकिस्तान अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा पर गश्त के दौरान 500 ग्राम संदिग्ध हेरोइन और एक पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन बरामद किया। इस कार्रवाई से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि पाकिस्तान से ड्रग्स की तस्करी को अंजाम देने की कोशिश लगातार जारी है, जिसे सीमा सुरक्षा बल द्वारा बार-बार विफल किया जा रहा है।

घटनाक्रम का विवरण
सीमा सुरक्षा बल के जवानों ने रात्रि गश्त के दौरान संदिग्ध गतिविधि देखी और तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए क्षेत्र की तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान उन्हें एक पैकेट में 500 ग्राम संदिग्ध हेरोइन और एक पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन मिला। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि तस्कर भारतीय सीमा में हेरोइन की खेप पहुंचाने की फिराक में थे, लेकिन बीएसएफ की सतर्कता के कारण वे इसे प्राप्त नहीं कर सके और अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर भाग निकले।

पिछली घटनाओं से मिलती-जुलती कार्रवाई
यह पहली बार नहीं है जब सीमा सुरक्षा बल ने पाकिस्तानी ड्रोन और हेरोइन की तस्करी को नाकाम किया हो। इससे पहले भी 21 मार्च 2025 को बीकानेर जिले के सतराना क्षेत्र में 3 किलोग्राम हेरोइन बरामद की गई थी। बीएसएफ लगातार चौकसी बरत रही है ताकि नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी को रोका जा सके।

सीमा सुरक्षा बल का बयान
राजस्थान फ्रंटियर, बीएसएफ के महानिरीक्षक (IG) श्री एम. एल. गर्ग ने कहा, “सीमा सुरक्षा बल अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा पर ड्रग्स तस्करी को लेकर पूरी तरह सतर्क है। हमारी टीम लगातार गश्त और विशेष अभियानों के माध्यम से इस अवैध गतिविधि को रोकने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। हम इस तरह की तस्करी को पूरी तरह समाप्त करने के लिए दृढ़ संकल्पित हैं।”

BSF Seizes Heroin and Drone at India-Pakistan International Border

This incident highlights the continuous attempts of drug smuggling from Pakistan, which BSF has been successfully thwarting time and again.

Incident Details
During their routine night patrol, BSF personnel noticed suspicious activity and launched an immediate search operation. Upon investigation, they discovered a packet containing 500 grams of suspected heroin and a Pakistani drone. It is believed that the smugglers intended to retrieve the consignment within Indian territory, but due to BSF’s vigilance, they failed and managed to escape under the cover of darkness.

Similar Past Incidents
This is not the first time BSF has intercepted Pakistani drones and heroin smuggling attempts. Earlier, on March 21, 2025, BSF seized 3 kilograms of heroin from the Satrana region of Bikaner district. The force remains on high alert to curb drug trafficking across the border.

BSF’s Official Statement
Inspector General (IG) of Rajasthan Frontier, BSF, Shri M. L. Garg, stated, “The Border Security Force is fully alert regarding drug smuggling along the international border. Our team is conducting regular patrols and special operations to prevent these illegal activities. We are determined to put an end to drug trafficking completely.”
