बीकानेर में सोमवार को भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ एक बड़ी और निर्णायक कार्रवाई देखने को मिली, जब एंटी करप्शन ब्यूरो ने राज्य जीएसटी कार्यालय में छापा मारकर टैक्स असिस्टेंट अधिकारी को रिश्वत लेते हुए रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार कर लिया। इस कार्रवाई से वाणिज्य कर विभाग में हड़कंप मच गया और सरकारी दफ्तरों में पारदर्शिता को लेकर गंभीर सवाल खड़े हो गए।
यह कार्रवाई एसीबी के अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक आशीष कुमार के नेतृत्व में की गई, जिसमें उनकी टीम ने पूरी योजना और सतर्कता के साथ ट्रैप ऑपरेशन को अंजाम दिया। शिकायत मिलने के बाद एसीबी ने पहले मामले का सत्यापन किया और रिश्वत की मांग की पुष्टि होने पर सोमवार को कार्रवाई को अंतिम रूप दिया।
जानकारी के अनुसार, राज्य जीएसटी कार्यालय में पदस्थ टैक्स असिस्टेंट अधिकारी पुरुषोत्तम जोशी पर टैक्स सेटलमेंट के बदले 50 हजार रुपये की रिश्वत मांगने का आरोप था। जैसे ही परिवादी ने निर्धारित राशि अधिकारी को सौंपी, एसीबी की टीम ने मौके पर दबिश देकर आरोपी को रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया। रिश्वत की राशि भी मौके से बरामद कर ली गई।
परिवादी द्वारा एसीबी को दी गई शिकायत में बताया गया था कि उसका टैक्स संबंधी मामला जानबूझकर अटकाया जा रहा था और निपटारे के लिए अवैध रकम की मांग की जा रही थी। एसीबी ने शिकायत को गंभीरता से लेते हुए कानूनी प्रक्रिया के तहत जांच की और शिकायत सही पाए जाने पर ट्रैप की कार्रवाई की।
कार्रवाई के बाद एसीबी की टीम ने जीएसटी कार्यालय में जांच पड़ताल शुरू की, जहां संबंधित दस्तावेजों और रिकॉर्ड की गहन जांच की जा रही है। यह भी पता लगाने की कोशिश की जा रही है कि कहीं यह मामला किसी बड़े भ्रष्टाचार नेटवर्क से तो नहीं जुड़ा हुआ है।
एसीबी अधिकारियों के अनुसार, आरोपी के खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज किया जा रहा है और आगे की पूछताछ जारी है। यदि जांच में अन्य अधिकारियों या कर्मचारियों की संलिप्तता सामने आती है तो उनके खिलाफ भी सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
इस कार्रवाई ने एक बार फिर यह स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि सरकारी तंत्र में भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ सख्ती से निपटा जाएगा। साथ ही, यह आम नागरिकों के लिए भी एक संदेश है कि यदि वे किसी प्रकार की अवैध मांग का सामना करते हैं, तो बिना डर के शिकायत दर्ज कराएं।
