Udaipur.The timing of liquor shops has now been changed from 10 am to 8 pm as per the excise policy by the state government, whereas they were earlier open from 6 am to 8 pm.
The Rajasthan Excise Department has taken this decision while acting on the letter of the National President of Mrs. Poonam Ankur Chhabra Justice for Chhabra.
It is noteworthy that Poonam Ankur Chhabra, the national president of the liquor ban movement, action on shops opening after the stipulated time, early disposal of complaints against shops near schools and temples, withdrawal of names of liquor sold in the name of world famous historical characters. This decision has been taken in this process.
Poonam Ankur Chhabra, the national president of the liquor ban movement, had apprised the Chief Secretary, Saheb Niranjan Arya, Finance Secretary T. Ravikant and Excise Commissioner Dr. Jogaram, about various excise problems.
