सेना प्रमुख जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने बीकानेर और अग्रिम क्षेत्रों का दौरा किया, ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों और तकनीकी आधुनिकीकरण पर दिया जोर
जयपुर, शुक्रवार, 03 अक्टूबर 2025 – भारत की रणनीतिक सीमाओं पर तैनाती और सैनिकों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा के लिए थल सेनाध्यक्ष जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने बीकानेर सैन्य स्टेशन और आसपास के अग्रिम क्षेत्रों का दौरा किया। इस दौरे का उद्देश्य सैनिकों की ऑपरेशनल तत्परता का आकलन करना, मनोबल बढ़ाना और सेना के आधुनिकीकरण और तकनीकी क्षमताओं को मजबूत करना था।
वरिष्ठ नेतृत्व, पूर्व सैनिक और जवानों के साथ संवाद
दौरे के दौरान सेनाध्यक्ष ने वरिष्ठ सैन्य नेतृत्व, पूर्व सैनिकों, नागरिक गणमान्य और सभी रैंक के जवानों से बातचीत की। उन्होंने ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों, तकनीकी क्षमताओं और आधुनिक युद्धकौशल पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने युद्ध की तेजी से बदलती प्रकृति के बीच, पूरे ऑपरेशनल स्पेक्ट्रम में यूएएस और काउंटर-यूएएस तकनीकों के एकीकरण की आवश्यकता पर भी प्रकाश डाला, जिससे उभरते खतरों के खिलाफ अनुकूलन क्षमता और तैयारियों में वृद्धि हो सके।
इस अवसर पर, जनरल द्विवेदी ने राष्ट्र निर्माण में उनके योगदान के लिए लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल के. हेम सिंह शेखावत (सेवानिवृत्त), लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल बीरबल बिश्नोई (सेवानिवृत्त), रिसलदार भंवर सिंह (सेवानिवृत्त) और हवलदार नकत सिंह (सेवानिवृत्त) को सम्मानित किया।
रेगिस्तानी और अर्ध-रेगिस्तानी क्षेत्रों में ऑपरेशनल उत्कृष्टता
बीकानेर में उपस्थित सभी रैंकों और पूर्व सैनिकों को संबोधित करते हुए सेनाध्यक्ष ने उनके समर्पण, निष्ठा और बहु-एजेंसी समन्वय की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि कठिन रेगिस्तानी और अर्ध-रेगिस्तानी इलाकों में संचालन के लिए लगातार प्रशिक्षण, रणनीतिक अनुकूलन और तकनीकी अवशोषण आवश्यक हैं।
“इन कठिन इलाकों में संचालन करने के लिए धैर्य, कौशल और आधुनिक तकनीकों का सुचारू एकीकरण आवश्यक है,” सेनाध्यक्ष ने कहा। उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि सेना का संचालन पारंपरिक और असममित दोनों प्रकार के खतरों के लिए तैयार है।
Whole-of-Nation दृष्टिकोण और मिलिट्री-सिविल फ्यूजन
जनरल द्विवेदी ने कहा कि वर्तमान जटिल सुरक्षा वातावरण में सशस्त्र बल, सरकारी एजेंसियां, उद्योग, अकादमी और समाज के बीच समन्वय आवश्यक है। उन्होंने ‘Whole-of-Nation’ दृष्टिकोण अपनाने पर जोर दिया ताकि रक्षा तैयारियों को प्रभावी ढंग से सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
उन्होंने मिलिट्री-सिविल फ्यूजन के महत्व को भी रेखांकित किया और कहा कि पूर्व सैनिकों का अनुभव और योगदान भारत की रक्षा तैयारियों और रणभूमि में श्रेष्ठता को और मजबूत करता है।

सेनाध्यक्ष ने बताया कि भारतीय सेना का आधुनिकीकरण और तकनीकी एकीकरण उसकी रणनीतिक श्रेष्ठता बनाए रखने के लिए आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि उभरती तकनीकें, जैसे उन्नत निगरानी प्रणालियाँ, नेटवर्क-सेंट्रिक ऑपरेशन और यूएएस क्षमताएं, ऑपरेशनल दक्षता और निर्णय लेने की क्षमता को बढ़ाती हैं। इन पहलुओं के साथ कठोर प्रशिक्षण और रणनीतिक योजना, भारतीय सेना को किसी भी खतरे का प्रभावी जवाब देने में सक्षम बनाती हैं।

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Forward Areas, Reiterates Operational Excellence and Technological Modernisation
Jaipur, Friday, 03 October 2025 – In a comprehensive inspection of India’s strategic border deployments, General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), conducted an extensive visit to forward areas, including the Bikaner Military Station. The tour focused on reviewing operational readiness, evaluating troop preparedness, and emphasizing the integration of advanced technologies to strengthen the Army’s combat capabilities. The visit comes amid ongoing efforts to modernize the Indian Army and reinforce its operational superiority in challenging terrains.
Interaction with Leadership, Veterans, and Troops
During the visit, the COAS engaged with senior military leadership, veterans, civil dignitaries, and soldiers of all ranks.
