ARMY COMMANDER VISITS RASHTRIYA MILITARY SCHOOL, AJMER – INSPIRES YOUNG CADETS WITH LEADERSHIP LESSONS

In a visit that infused the corridors of Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Ajmer with pride, enthusiasm, and motivation, Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, paid a significant visit to the institution on August 28, 2025.

Upon his arrival, the Army Commander was given a formal reception steeped in military tradition by the school’s Principal, Lieutenant Colonel Ritu Chhetri. The visit underscored the importance of RMS Ajmer as one of the premier feeder institutions grooming cadets for leadership roles in the Indian Armed Forces.

Campus Tour & Review of Facilities

The Army Commander undertook a comprehensive tour of the school campus, meticulously inspecting academic, training, and residential facilities. He was briefed on the initiatives adopted by the institution to foster holistic growth of the cadets – with a special focus on academic excellence, military training, discipline, and character building. Lauding the high standards maintained at RMS Ajmer, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth commended the faculty and staff for their tireless commitment in shaping the cadets into capable leaders of tomorrow.

Release of Annual Magazine ‘Abhivyakti’

A key highlight of the day was the release of the school’s annual magazine ‘Abhivyakti’, a compilation that captures the literary, artistic, and creative flair of the cadets. The magazine showcases not only the achievements of cadets in academics and sports but also their contributions in cultural and extra-curricular spheres.

Felicitating Excellence

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth felicitated cadets who distinguished themselves in various fields including academics, sports, cultural activities, and inter-school competitions. By honoring their dedication and achievements, he emphasized that excellence in every field is the foundation of military ethos.

Interaction with Cadets – A Motivational Session

Perhaps the most inspiring moment of the visit was the Army Commander’s interactive session with cadets. Engaging them in candid discussions about their aspirations, challenges, and future goals, he encouraged them to nurture qualities of patriotism, discipline, resilience, and self-confidence. He highlighted that discipline and hard work are the true pillars of success, remarking:

“Discipline and hard work are the true keys to success; once imbibed, no goal in life remains unattainable.”

His motivating words left a profound impact on the cadets, instilling in them a renewed determination to embrace challenges and dedicate themselves to the service of the Nation.

Symbol of Pride & Inspiration

The visit concluded with an air of renewed vigour in the school campus. Teachers, staff, and cadets alike expressed pride in the recognition and encouragement bestowed by the Army Commander. The event not only strengthened the bond between the Armed Forces and the future leaders being nurtured at RMS Ajmer but also reaffirmed the institution’s legacy of discipline, academic brilliance, and leadership.

राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूल (RMS), अजमेर में 28 अगस्त 2025 को एक ऐतिहासिक और प्रेरणादायक क्षण आया जब सदर्न कमांड के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग-इन-चीफ, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल धीरज सेठ, पीवीएसएम, एवीएसएम ने विद्यालय का दौरा किया।

विद्यालय आगमन पर प्राचार्य लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल ऋतु छेत्री ने सैन्य परंपराओं के अनुरूप औपचारिक स्वागत किया। इस दौरे ने यह स्पष्ट किया कि आरएमएस अजमेर भारतीय सेना के भविष्य के नेतृत्व को तैयार करने वाले अग्रणी संस्थानों में से एक है।

संस्थान का निरीक्षण

आर्मी कमांडर ने विद्यालय का विस्तृत भ्रमण किया और शैक्षणिक, प्रशिक्षण एवं आवासीय सुविधाओं का निरीक्षण किया। उन्हें विद्यालय द्वारा कैडेट्स के सर्वांगीण विकास हेतु शिक्षा, सैन्य प्रशिक्षण, अनुशासन और चरित्र निर्माण पर केंद्रित पहलों की जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने विद्यालय की उच्च परंपरा और मानकों की प्रशंसा की और संकाय एवं स्टाफ को कैडेट्स को भविष्य के नेता बनाने हेतु बधाई दी।

वार्षिक पत्रिका ‘अभिव्यक्ति’ का विमोचन

इस अवसर पर उन्होंने विद्यालय की वार्षिक पत्रिका ‘अभिव्यक्ति’ का विमोचन किया। यह पत्रिका कैडेट्स की साहित्यिक, कलात्मक एवं रचनात्मक प्रतिभा का जीवंत दस्तावेज है, जिसमें शैक्षणिक, खेल एवं सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों में उनकी उपलब्धियों को प्रदर्शित किया गया है।

उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले कैडेट्स का सम्मान

आर्मी कमांडर ने उन कैडेट्स को सम्मानित किया जिन्होंने शिक्षा, खेल, सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों और अंतर-विद्यालय प्रतियोगिताओं में विशेष उपलब्धियां अर्जित कीं। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्टता ही सैन्य मूल्यों का आधार है।

कैडेट्स से संवाद – प्रेरणा का सत्र

दौरे का सबसे प्रेरक क्षण कैडेट्स के साथ हुआ संवाद था। लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल धीरज सेठ ने कैडेट्स से उनकी आकांक्षाओं, चुनौतियों और भविष्य की योजनाओं पर चर्चा की। उन्होंने अनुशासन, परिश्रम, आत्मविश्वास और देशभक्ति को जीवन का अभिन्न हिस्सा बनाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा:

“अनुशासन और परिश्रम सफलता की सच्ची चाबियां हैं; इन्हें आत्मसात कर लेने पर जीवन में कोई भी लक्ष्य असंभव नहीं रहता।”

उनके प्रेरणादायी शब्दों ने कैडेट्स में नया उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास भर दिया।

नवीन गौरव और ऊर्जा का संचार

इस दौरे से विद्यालय परिसर में गौरव, जोश और प्रेरणा का वातावरण बन गया। कैडेट्स और स्टाफ ने इसे अपने लिए गर्व और संबल का अवसर बताया। यह दौरा न केवल आरएमएस अजमेर और भारतीय सेना के बीच संबंधों को और मजबूत करता है बल्कि विद्यालय की गौरवशाली परंपरा को भी पुष्ट करता है।
