Army’s Portable Multi Target Detonation Device Granted Patent

Srinagar 19 March: Indian Army on Tuesday said that its “Portable Multi Target Detonation Device (WEDC)” developed by Major Rajprasad RS of the Corps of Engineer has been granted a patent.

As per the news agency CNS, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI) of Indian Army in a post on X said, “Indian Army achieved yet another milestone with Patent granted for the Innovation “Portable Multi Target Detonation Device (WEDC)”, developed by Maj Rajprasad RS of the Corps of Engineers.”

The innovation, which enables troops to undertake demolition at long range with increased safety and several advanced features, has been inducted in the Indian Army, added ADGPI – Indian Army in the post on X. (CNS)
