Accused Motaram Arrested, Identified as Key Link in Drug Supply Chain
The main accused, identified as Motaram, was arrested on the spot. Preliminary investigations revealed that Motaram was not a first-time offender but a habitual drug trafficker with deep connections to interstate narcotics suppliers. According to police records, he had earlier been absconding in a major case involving the supply of nearly 1.2 lakh intoxicant tablets. His arrest is considered a breakthrough, as he is believed to be a crucial link between suppliers in Punjab–Haryana and distributors operating in Rajasthan’s interior regions.

During interrogation, it emerged that the ganja and other narcotics were being sourced from Punjab and Haryana, two states that have become major hubs for drug circulation due to their proximity to international smuggling routes and organized crime networks. The drugs were then transported into Rajasthan using private vehicles and rural routes to evade police checkpoints. Investigators suspect that Motaram was part of a larger syndicate responsible for supplying drugs to multiple districts, including Churu, Bikaner, Nagaur, and Sikar, where youth addiction cases have been steadily rising.
High-Speed Escape: Second Accused Rams Police Vehicle with Scorpio
In a dramatic turn of events during the operation, another accused managed to flee the scene by forcefully ramming a Scorpio SUV into a police vehicle. The collision caused damage to the police car, but officers narrowly escaped serious injuries. The accused exploited the chaos to escape, prompting an immediate manhunt. Police have since launched search operations across neighboring districts and border areas to track down the fugitive. CCTV footage and vehicle registration data are being analyzed to identify and apprehend the absconding suspect.

Senior officials confirmed that this case is being treated not as an isolated incident but as part of a larger investigation into organized narcotics networks operating in northern India. राजस्थान में बढ़ते नशे के कारोबार के खिलाफ एक बड़ी और निर्णायक कार्रवाई करते हुए एंटी-नार्कोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स (ANTF) और एंटी-टेररिज्म स्क्वॉड (ATS) ने चूरू जिले के सुजानगढ़ क्षेत्र में संयुक्त ऑपरेशन चलाकर करीब 13 लाख रुपये कीमत का गांजा जब्त किया है। यह कार्रवाई पुलिस महानिरीक्षक (IG) विकास कुमार सिंह के प्रत्यक्ष निर्देशन और रणनीतिक निगरानी में की गई। बीकानेर संभाग में हाल के महीनों की यह सबसे बड़ी नशा विरोधी कार्रवाई मानी जा रही है, जिसने अंतरराज्यीय ड्रग नेटवर्क को बड़ा झटका दिया है।

इस पूरे ऑपरेशन का नेतृत्व ANTF प्रभारी महेन्द्र दत्त शर्मा ने किया। गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर उनकी टीम ने सुजानगढ़ इलाके में एक संदिग्ध वाहन को रोका, जिसमें बड़ी मात्रा में गांजा छिपाकर ले जाया जा रहा था। पुलिस ने सावधानीपूर्वक तलाशी लेकर नशीले पदार्थ को जब्त किया। जब्त किए गए गांजे की अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत करीब 13 लाख रुपये आंकी गई है। पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, यह खेप राजस्थान के कई जिलों में सप्लाई की जानी थी।
आरोपी मोटाराम गिरफ्तार, ड्रग सप्लाई चेन का अहम कड़ी
मौके से मुख्य आरोपी मोटाराम को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। प्रारंभिक जांच में सामने आया है कि मोटाराम कोई छोटा तस्कर नहीं बल्कि एक अनुभवी नशा तस्कर है, जिसके पंजाब और हरियाणा में मजबूत संपर्क हैं। पुलिस रिकॉर्ड के मुताबिक, वह पहले भी करीब 1 लाख 20 हजार नशीली गोलियों की सप्लाई से जुड़े मामले में फरार चल रहा था। उसकी गिरफ्तारी को बड़ी सफलता माना जा रहा है, क्योंकि वह अंतरराज्यीय नशा सप्लाई नेटवर्क की एक अहम कड़ी माना जाता है।
पंजाब–हरियाणा से राजस्थान तक फैलाया जा रहा था नशे का जाल
पूछताछ में यह खुलासा हुआ है कि गांजा और अन्य नशीले पदार्थ पंजाब और हरियाणा से लाकर राजस्थान के विभिन्न जिलों में सप्लाई किए जा रहे थे। इन राज्यों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय तस्करी रूट्स के करीब होने के कारण ड्रग माफिया का गढ़ माना जाता है। तस्कर निजी वाहनों और ग्रामीण रास्तों का इस्तेमाल कर पुलिस नाकों से बचने की कोशिश करते थे। चूरू, बीकानेर, नागौर और सीकर जैसे जिलों में नशे की बढ़ती समस्या के पीछे इसी नेटवर्क का हाथ बताया जा रहा है।
फिल्मी अंदाज़ में फरार हुआ दूसरा आरोपी, पुलिस वाहन को मारी स्कॉर्पियो से टक्कर
ऑपरेशन के दौरान एक और आरोपी ने पुलिस की गाड़ी को स्कॉर्पियो से जोरदार टक्कर मारकर मौके से फरार होने की कोशिश की। इस टक्कर में पुलिस वाहन को नुकसान पहुंचा, हालांकि किसी भी पुलिसकर्मी को गंभीर चोट नहीं आई। हादसे के बाद इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जिसका फायदा उठाकर आरोपी फरार हो गया। फिलहाल पुलिस ने उसकी तलाश के लिए बड़े स्तर पर सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू कर दिया है और सीसीटीवी फुटेज व वाहन नंबरों की जांच की जा रही है।
संगठित अपराध नेटवर्क ATS और इंटेलिजेंस एजेंसियों के रडार पर
वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया है कि यह मामला केवल एक व्यक्ति की गिरफ्तारी तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि इसे एक संगठित अंतरराज्यीय नशा नेटवर्क के रूप में देखा जा रहा है। ATS और राज्य की खुफिया एजेंसियां अब इस नेटवर्क से जुड़े पैसों के लेन-देन, कॉल डिटेल्स और सप्लाई रूट्स की गहराई से जांच कर रही हैं। पुलिस का मानना है कि नशे से कमाया गया पैसा कई अन्य आपराधिक गतिविधियों में भी इस्तेमाल होता है, जिससे यह मामला राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से भी जुड़ जाता है।
राजस्थान के ग्रामीण और सीमावर्ती इलाकों में बढ़ता नशे का खतरा
बीते कुछ वर्षों में राजस्थान के ग्रामीण और अर्ध-शहरी इलाकों में नशे की लत तेजी से बढ़ी है। गांजा, सिंथेटिक ड्रग्स और नशीली गोलियों की आसान उपलब्धता के कारण युवा वर्ग सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित हो रहा है। इससे न केवल परिवारों का भविष्य खराब हो रहा है, बल्कि समाजिक ताने-बाने पर भी बुरा असर पड़ रहा है। श्रीगंगानगर, हनुमानगढ़, चूरू और बीकानेर जैसे जिले पंजाब-हरियाणा से जुड़े होने के कारण विशेष रूप से संवेदनशील माने जा रहे हैं।
IG विकास कुमार सिंह का सख्त संदेश: नशे के खिलाफ जीरो टॉलरेंस
IG विकास कुमार सिंह ने साफ कहा है कि राजस्थान पुलिस नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ “जीरो टॉलरेंस” की नीति पर काम कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि नशे का कारोबार करने वालों, उन्हें सपोर्ट करने वालों और फाइनेंस करने वालों सभी के खिलाफ कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उनके अनुसार, यह लड़ाई सिर्फ कानून व्यवस्था की नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ी के भविष्य को बचाने की लड़ाई है। उन्होंने ANTF–ATS की टीम की बहादुरी और पेशेवर कार्यशैली की सराहना भी की।
आरोपी को कोर्ट में पेश किया गया, और भी गिरफ्तारियां संभव
गिरफ्तार आरोपी मोटाराम को अदालत में पेश कर दिया गया है और उसके खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत कड़ी धाराओं में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस अब उसके सहयोगियों, फाइनेंसरों और अंतिम स्तर के सप्लायर्स की पहचान में जुटी है। जब्त गांजे को फॉरेंसिक जांच के लिए भेज दिया गया है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि आने वाले दिनों में इस नेटवर्क से जुड़े और भी लोगों की गिरफ्तारी संभव है।
उत्तर भारत के ड्रग माफिया के लिए सख्त चेतावनी
इस कार्रवाई ने राजस्थान, पंजाब और हरियाणा में सक्रिय ड्रग माफियाओं को साफ संदेश दे दिया है कि अब पुलिस पूरी ताकत से उनके खिलाफ मोर्चा खोल चुकी है। बेहतर खुफिया नेटवर्क, तकनीकी निगरानी और ज़मीनी ऑपरेशनों के जरिए ANTF–ATS नशे के कारोबार की जड़ों पर वार कर रही है। समाज और युवाओं को इस जहर से बचाने के लिए यह अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा।
