BSF Golfers Tournament 2025 Concludes in Bikaner — Sentinels of the Borders Turn Champions on the Green Turf
Bikaner, Rajasthan | October 17, 2025 — Amidst the golden dunes of Rajasthan’s desert frontier, where discipline and courage meet the spirit of sportsmanship, the Border Security Force (BSF) successfully concluded its Annual BSF Golfers Tournament – 2025 in Bikaner. The two-day sporting spectacle was not merely a contest of skill and precision, but a vibrant celebration of camaraderie, mental resilience, and the indomitable team spirit that defines the men and women of the BSF.
The event was organized under the aegis and guidance of Inspector General (IG) M.L. Garg, BSF Rajasthan Frontier, who described the tournament as “a symbol of unity, discipline, and healthy competition among officers across India.” The lush, meticulously maintained golf ground inside the BSF campus in Bikaner turned into a battlefield of swings and strategy, where officers representing different BSF frontiers and headquarters from across the country displayed remarkable precision and focus.
Celebrating Sportsmanship, Unity, and the Spirit of the Force
Addressing the participants at the grand closing ceremony, IG M.L. Garg emphasized that the BSF’s strength lies not only in its tactical capability but also in the mental and physical wellness of its officers and personnel. “The Border Security Force is not confined to guarding borders alone. It equally values the emotional and physical well-being of its members,” he said.
“Sports like golf instill patience, concentration, and composure — values that are at the heart of BSF’s ethos,” he added. “Such tournaments enhance coordination, mutual understanding, and morale among officers who serve in challenging terrains — from the icy peaks of Kashmir to the scorching deserts of Rajasthan.”
He further lauded the dedication and teamwork that made the event a success, describing the tournament as “a bridge of friendship” among the BSF’s vast network of officers and units spread across India’s borders.
A Force Beyond Borders — The BSF’s Humanitarian Face
In an interactive session with media representatives, IG Garg also reflected on BSF’s humanitarian operations. Recalling the recent bus tragedy in Jaisalmer, he highlighted how BSF personnel acted swiftly in rescue operations, saving several civilian lives.
“The BSF has always stood as a pillar of courage and compassion. Whether on the border or amidst civilian crises, our personnel are trained to protect, rescue, and serve,” he said, underscoring the dual character of the BSF — as both a shield on the frontier and a hand of help in times of distress.

The closing ceremony was graced by a distinguished gathering of senior officers and dignitaries from across the BSF hierarchy. Among those present were:

- Overall Team Championship: Punjab Frontier clinched the top honours, emerging as the overall winner.
- Runner-Up: BSF Headquarters, New Delhi took the second position with strong performances across categories.

बीकानेर में संपन्न हुआ बीएसएफ गोल्फर्स टूर्नामेंट 2025 — सीमाओं के प्रहरी बने खेल मैदान के विजेता

थार मरुस्थल की सुनहरी रेत के बीच, जहां अनुशासन और साहस का संगम खेल भावना से होता है, वहीं सीमा सुरक्षा बल (BSF) का वार्षिक बीएसएफ गोल्फर्स टूर्नामेंट – 2025 बीकानेर में भव्यता और सफलता के साथ संपन्न हुआ।
यह दो दिवसीय आयोजन केवल खेल प्रतिस्पर्धा भर नहीं था, बल्कि यह मित्रता, मनोबल और समर्पण की भावना का प्रतीक बनकर उभरा — ऐसा आयोजन जिसने यह साबित किया कि बीएसएफ के जवान और अधिकारी न केवल सीमाओं की सुरक्षा में अग्रणी हैं, बल्कि मानसिक, शारीरिक और सामाजिक समरसता के भी उदाहरण हैं।
खेल के जरिये एकजुटता और अनुशासन की मिसाल
यह टूर्नामेंट बीएसएफ राजस्थान फ्रंटियर के महानिरीक्षक (IG) श्री एम.एल. गर्ग के संरक्षण और मार्गदर्शन में आयोजित किया गया। उन्होंने इस आयोजन को “अनुशासन, सौहार्द और आपसी प्रतिस्पर्धा की स्वस्थ भावना” का प्रतीक बताया।
बीएसएफ कैंप परिसर में स्थित आकर्षक और सुसज्जित गोल्फ मैदान इन दो दिनों में एक नए रणक्षेत्र में तब्दील हो गया — जहां गोल्फ क्लब और गेंद के हर प्रहार में अनुशासन, एकाग्रता और टीम भावना झलक रही थी। देशभर के विभिन्न फ्रंटियर्स और मुख्यालयों से आए अधिकारियों ने इसमें हिस्सा लिया और अपने खेल कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया।
समापन समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए आईजी एम.एल. गर्ग ने कहा कि बीएसएफ की शक्ति केवल उसके हथियारों या रणनीति में नहीं, बल्कि उसके कर्मियों के मानसिक और शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य में निहित है।
उन्होंने कहा — “सीमा सुरक्षा बल केवल सीमाओं की रक्षा तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह अपने अधिकारियों और जवानों के समग्र कल्याण के लिए भी प्रतिबद्ध है। गोल्फ जैसे खेल अनुशासन, धैर्य और ध्यान केंद्रित करने की कला सिखाते हैं — जो बीएसएफ के मूल सिद्धांतों से गहराई से जुड़े हैं।”
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन न केवल फिटनेस और मानसिक स्फूर्ति को बढ़ाते हैं, बल्कि सीमाओं पर कठिन ड्यूटी निभाने वाले अधिकारियों में आपसी सहयोग और टीम स्पिरिट को सशक्त बनाते हैं।

समारोह के दौरान मीडिया से बातचीत में आईजी एम.एल. गर्ग ने हाल ही में हुए जैसलमेर बस हादसे का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि बीएसएफ कर्मियों ने जिस तत्परता और संवेदनशीलता से रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन में योगदान दिया, वह बीएसएफ के मानवीय चरित्र का सच्चा प्रमाण है।
उन्होंने कहा — “बीएसएफ हमेशा साहस और करुणा का प्रतीक रही है। चाहे सीमा पर गोलीबारी हो या नागरिक संकट की स्थिति — हमारे जवान हमेशा आगे बढ़कर लोगों की जान बचाने और मदद करने के लिए तत्पर रहते हैं।”
उन्होंने बताया कि बीएसएफ केवल राष्ट्र की सीमाओं की रक्षा करने वाला बल नहीं है, बल्कि यह नागरिक समाज के लिए भी एक सशक्त सहारा है — जो हर संकट में राष्ट्र और नागरिकों के साथ खड़ा रहता है।
वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति से सजा समापन समारोह
समापन समारोह में बीएसएफ के कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी और गणमान्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहे। इनमें प्रमुख रूप से शामिल थे —

इनके अलावा लगभग 20 उपमहानिरीक्षक (DIGs) और विभिन्न फ्रंटियर्स से आए अन्य अधिकारी भी समारोह में उपस्थित रहे। उनकी मौजूदगी ने आयोजन को और भी गौरवशाली बना दिया।
‘ग्रीन फील्ड’ की चमक के पीछे छिपा अनुशासन और परिश्रम
बीएसएफ बीकानेर फ्रंटियर की टीम ने इस टूर्नामेंट की तैयारी में महीनों तक मेहनत की। गोल्फ मैदान की हरियाली, सौंदर्य और परिपूर्णता बीएसएफ के अनुशासन और सौंदर्यबोध का प्रतीक थी।
इस तैयारी में सेवानिवृत्त महानिरीक्षक पुष्पेंद्र सिंह राठौर और उपमहानिरीक्षक अजय लूथरा (क्षेत्रीय मुख्यालय बीकानेर) का विशेष योगदान रहा।
उनकी देखरेख में मैदान का रखरखाव, सजावट और आयोजन की व्यवस्थाएं इतनी सुव्यवस्थित थीं कि सभी प्रतिभागियों ने उसकी सराहना की।
सीमा क्षेत्रों में लंबे समय तक सेवा देने वाले अधिकारियों के लिए यह आयोजन एक नया अनुभव था — जहां एक शांत, प्रतिस्पर्धी और प्रेरणादायक वातावरण में उन्होंने खुद को ताजगी और उमंग से भर लिया।
विजेता अधिकारी और शानदार प्रदर्शन की कहानी
दो दिनों तक चले इस प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक लेकिन सौहार्दपूर्ण टूर्नामेंट में खिलाड़ियों ने अपने सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन का परिचय दिया। हर शॉट, हर पुट और हर अंक में एक सिपाही की एकाग्रता और जज़्बा नजर आया।
टीम श्रेणी में विजेता रहे — पंजाब फ्रंटियर, जिन्होंने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए ‘ओवरऑल टीम चैंपियनशिप’ अपने नाम की।
उपविजेता रहे — बल मुख्यालय, नई दिल्ली, जिन्होंने सभी श्रेणियों में मजबूत प्रतिस्पर्धा दिखाई।

बीएसएफ गोल्फर्स टूर्नामेंट केवल एक वार्षिक आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि एक ऐसी पहल है जो बल में खेल संस्कृति, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और नेतृत्व समरसता को बढ़ावा देती है।
सीमा सुरक्षा बल के जवान और अधिकारी जहां कठिन परिस्थितियों में देश की रक्षा करते हैं, वहीं ऐसे आयोजन उन्हें मानसिक सुकून और शारीरिक फिटनेस बनाए रखने में मदद करते हैं।
इस बार के आयोजन में देशभर के विभिन्न फ्रंटियर्स — उत्तर बंगाल, पंजाब, गुजरात, जम्मू और राजस्थान — से आए अधिकारियों की भागीदारी ने ‘एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत’ की भावना को साकार किया।
यह केवल खेल नहीं, बल्कि विचार-विनिमय, रणनीतिक संवाद और आपसी सहयोग का एक मंच भी बना।
खेल के मैदान से उठी एकजुटता की गूंज
जैसे ही रेगिस्तानी शाम के आसमान में सूरज ढलने लगा और अंतिम ट्रॉफी विजेताओं को सौंपी गई, पूरा मैदान तालियों से गूंज उठा।
यह आयोजन इस तथ्य का प्रमाण बन गया कि बीएसएफ की असली ताकत उसके हथियारों में नहीं, बल्कि उसके जवानों के उत्साह, अनुशासन और एकता में निहित है।
एक प्रतिभागी अधिकारी ने कहा — “हर स्विंग और हर पुट में वही एकाग्रता और समर्पण था जो हम सीमाओं पर अपने कर्तव्यों के दौरान दिखाते हैं। मैदान अलग था, लेकिन भावना वही थी — सेवा, समर्पण और गौरव।”

बीएसएफ गोल्फर्स टूर्नामेंट 2025 बीएसएफ के मूल मंत्र “ड्यूटी अन्टु डेथ” (कर्तव्य मृत्यु तक) की भावना का मूर्त रूप बना —
यह टूर्नामेंट अनुशासन, एकजुटता और आत्म-नियंत्रण का जीवंत उदाहरण रहा।
