Chief of Army Staff Conducts Extensive Visit to Forward Areas in Central Sector, Reviews Operational Readiness and Community Development Initiatives

भारतीय थलसेना प्रमुख जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी ने केंद्रीय सेक्टर के अग्रिम क्षेत्रों का दौरा कर वहां तैनात सैनिकों की ऑपरेशनल तैयारियों का जायजा लिया, उन्हें प्रोत्साहित किया और सामुदायिक जुड़ाव के ongoing अभियानों की समीक्षा की। इस उच्च-स्तरीय दौरे का उद्देश्य न केवल सीमाओं पर भारत की सैन्य शक्ति और तत्परता को मजबूत करना था, बल्कि सीमांत इलाकों में रहने वाले नागरिकों के साथ सेना की साझेदारी को और गहराई देना भी था।

ब्रीफिंग के दौरान सेना प्रमुख को अत्याधुनिक निगरानी प्रणालियों (Advanced Surveillance Systems), विशेष गतिशीलता प्लेटफॉर्म, नई पीढ़ी की तकनीकों के एकीकरण और सीमा सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के साथ बेहतर तालमेल की दिशा में हो रही प्रगति से अवगत कराया गया।

सेना प्रमुख ने उन सैनिकों की सराहना की जो अत्यधिक ठंड, बर्फबारी और सीमित संसाधनों के बावजूद अपनी ड्यूटी को सर्वोपरि रखते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय सेना की ताकत केवल उसके हथियारों में नहीं, बल्कि उसके जवानों के हौसले में निहित है।

कुमाऊं क्षेत्र का रणनीतिक महत्व
सेना प्रमुख ने अपने संबोधन में कुमाऊं क्षेत्र के रणनीतिक और ऐतिहासिक महत्व को रेखांकित किया। नेपाल और चीन की सीमा से लगे इस दुर्गम क्षेत्र में तैनाती का अर्थ केवल रक्षा करना नहीं, बल्कि सामरिक दृष्टि से एक जीवंत सुरक्षा ढाल का निर्माण करना भी है।
जनरल द्विवेदी ने कहा कि “कुमाऊं क्षेत्र न केवल भौगोलिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण है, बल्कि यह हमारी सैन्य परंपराओं, लोक संस्कृति और सीमांत चेतना का प्रतीक भी है।” उन्होंने स्थानीय लोगों की देशभक्ति और कठिन जीवन परिस्थितियों में उनके संघर्ष की सराहना की।
उन्होंने कुमाऊं रेजिमेंट की गौरवशाली विरासत को याद करते हुए कहा कि यह धरती वीरता, अनुशासन और समर्पण की मिसाल रही है।
सैन्य-सामाजिक विकास की दिशा में कदम — ऑपरेशन सद्भावना और ‘वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम’
सेना प्रमुख ने अपने दौरे के दौरान ऑपरेशन ‘सद्भावना’ और ‘वाइब्रेंट विलेज प्रोग्राम’ के तहत चल रहे विकास कार्यों का भी निरीक्षण किया।
उन्होंने सड़क संपर्क, सौर और हाइब्रिड पावर सिस्टम, टेंट-आधारित होमस्टे, स्वास्थ्य शिविर, शिक्षा और कृषि नवाचारों से जुड़ी परियोजनाओं की समीक्षा की।
जनरल द्विवेदी ने गरब्यांग और कालापानी क्षेत्रों में बने टेंट-बेस्ड होमस्टे का दौरा किया, जो पर्यटन को प्रोत्साहन देने के साथ स्थानीय युवाओं को रोजगार से जोड़ रहा है। उन्होंने सीमांत गांवों में चिकित्सा शिविर, महिला सशक्तिकरण कार्यक्रम और पॉलीहाउस खेती जैसी योजनाओं को भी सराहा।
उन्होंने कहा, “भारतीय सेना केवल सीमा की रक्षा नहीं करती, बल्कि सीमांत समुदायों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए भी संकल्पित है। यह ‘दया में शक्ति’ (Strength with Compassion) का प्रतीक है — आधुनिक भारतीय सैनिक का असली रूप।”
ऑपरेशनल उत्कृष्टता और मानवीय संवेदना का संगम

जनरल द्विवेदी ने कहा, “हमारा लक्ष्य केवल सीमाओं की रक्षा नहीं, बल्कि सीमाओं पर रहने वाले हर नागरिक के जीवन में सुरक्षा, स्थिरता और अवसर लाना भी है।”
