Empowering Youth in National Security: Chetak Corps and Amogh Division Lead Drone Training Initiative for NCC Cadets
Sri Ganganagar | October 2025 — In a significant stride towards integrating modern technology into national security preparedness, the Amogh Division of Sri Ganganagar, in collaboration with the 15th Rajasthan NCC Battalion, conducted an extensive Drone Training Capsule for NCC cadets at the Amogh Niche Technology Excellence Centre. The program, designed to provide hands-on experience in operating drones, aims to equip young cadets with critical skills that could be leveraged during emergencies, disaster management, and national security contingencies.
Bridging the Gap Between Technology and National Service
The Drone Training Capsule is part of a broader initiative by the Indian Armed Forces and allied agencies to familiarize youth with emerging technological tools that can enhance operational efficiency in security frameworks. During the training sessions, cadets were introduced to various drone platforms, learning the nuances of navigation, remote operation, payload management, and aerial reconnaissance. The curriculum emphasized not only technical proficiency but also the ethical and responsible use of drones in civil and defense applications.
Lieutenant Colonel Rajveer Singh, leading the Amogh Division’s training wing, highlighted the relevance of such initiatives in the modern security landscape. “The youth of India are our greatest asset. By providing them exposure to drones and other emerging technologies, we are ensuring that they are ready to support government agencies in times of need. अमोघ डिवीजन के प्रशिक्षण विंग के प्रमुख लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल राजवीर सिंह ने इस पहल की प्रासंगिकता पर प्रकाश डाला। “भारत का युवा हमारी सबसे बड़ी शक्ति है। उन्हें ड्रोन और अन्य उभरती तकनीकों से परिचित कराकर हम सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं कि वे संकट की स्थिति में सरकारी एजेंसियों का समर्थन करने के लिए तैयार रहें। यह केवल प्रशिक्षण नहीं है; यह तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त पीढ़ी को राष्ट्रीय सेवा के लिए तैयार करने की दिशा में एक कदम है,” उन्होंने कहा।
व्यावहारिक अनुभव और वास्तविक जीवन के सिमुलेशन
कैडेट्स ने ड्रोन को बाधा मार्गों से नेविगेट करने, नकली निगरानी मिशन करने और आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया परिदृश्यों को सिमुलेट करने के कठिन व्यावहारिक सत्रों में भाग लिया। ये अभ्यास वास्तविक जीवन की चुनौतियों की तरह डिज़ाइन किए गए थे, जिनका सामना सरकारी एजेंसियों को प्राकृतिक आपदाओं, सीमा निगरानी या आंतरिक सुरक्षा संचालन के दौरान करना पड़ सकता है। ड्रोन कंट्रोल सिस्टम, कैमरा और ऑटोमेटेड फीचर्स के साथ काम करके कैडेट्स ने तकनीकी आत्मविश्वास और समस्या-समाधान कौशल विकसित किया।
एनसीसी कैडेट अनन्या शर्मा ने अपनी अनुभव साझा करते हुए कहा, “ड्रोन को हैंडल करना एक नया दृष्टिकोण प्रदान करता है कि कैसे तकनीक हमारे देश की सेवा कर सकती है। अनुभव रोमांचक था, लेकिन इससे यह भी दिखा कि हम अपनी क्षमताओं और ज्ञान का उपयोग करके राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा में योगदान दे सकते हैं।”

प्रशिक्षण के अलावा, कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य कैडेट्स को यह सोचने के लिए प्रेरित करना था कि कैसे तकनीक राष्ट्रनिर्माण में भूमिका निभा सकती है। इंटरएक्टिव वर्कशॉप्स और चर्चाओं में कैडेट्स को यह समझाया गया कि ड्रोन का उपयोग कृषि निगरानी, आपदा राहत, यातायात प्रबंधन और पर्यावरण संरक्षण में कैसे किया जा सकता है। तकनीकी कौशल को राष्ट्रीय जरूरतों से जोड़कर, अमोघ डिवीजन और एनसीसी बटालियन ने यह संदेश दिया कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा केवल सैन्य संचालन तक सीमित नहीं है—यह तैयारी, सहनशीलता और नागरिक जिम्मेदारी को भी शामिल करती है।
