Bikaner/Mahajan Field Firing Ranges — The vast, sun-scorched expanse of Rajasthan’s Mahajan Field Firing Ranges is set to transform into a multinational conflict zone as India and the United Kingdom prepare to commence the 8th edition of Exercise AJEYA WARRIOR, a premier bilateral Army-to-Army joint training exercise scheduled from 17 to 30 November 2025.
Over the next two weeks, Indian and British soldiers will engage in some of the most complex, realistic and demanding counter-terrorism (CT) drills the armies have ever undertaken jointly, reflecting not merely tactical synergy but a strategic partnership anchored in shared democratic values and a commitment to international peacekeeping under the UN Chapter VII mandate.

बीकानेर/महाजन फील्ड फायरिंग रेंज — राजस्थान के विशाल, तपते और धूलभरे रेगिस्तानी इलाकों में स्थित महाजन फील्ड फायरिंग रेंज एक बार फिर अंतरराष्ट्रीय सैन्य शक्ति और रणनीतिक कौशल के प्रदर्शन का केंद्र बनने जा रहा है। भारत और यूनाइटेड किंगडम की सेनाएं यहां 17 से 30 नवंबर 2025 तक आयोजित होने वाले बहुप्रतीक्षित और प्रतिष्ठित 8वें संस्करण ‘एक्सरसाइज अजेया वॉरियर 2025’ में भाग लेंगी।
यह द्विपक्षीय सैन्य अभ्यास दोनों सेनाओं के बीच संचालनात्मक तालमेल, युद्धक एकरूपता, शांति-स्थापना क्षमताओं और संयुक्त आतंकवाद-रोधी अभियानों को नई दिशा देने वाला है। आने वाले 14 दिनों में भारतीय और ब्रिटिश सैनिक ऐसे जटिल, यथार्थवादी और उच्च-स्तरीय आतंकवाद-रोधी अभियानों में हिस्सा लेंगे, जिनका उद्देश्य केवल सैन्य अभ्यास नहीं, बल्कि वैश्विक शांति स्थापना के प्रति दोनों देशों की साझा प्रतिबद्धता को मजबूत करना है।
वैश्विक संदर्भ में रणनीतिक महत्व वाला सैन्य अभ्यास
सालों से इस अभ्यास ने साधारण युद्धाभ्यास से आगे बढ़कर एक महत्वपूर्ण सामरिक-राजनीतिक मंच का रूप ले लिया है। 2025 का संस्करण इसलिए और अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि दुनिया इस समय तेज होती वैश्विक आतंकवाद की लहर, डिजिटल-हाइब्रिड युद्ध, शहरी आतंकवाद और अंतरराष्ट्रीय अस्थिरता जैसी गंभीर चुनौतियों का सामना कर रही है।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, अभ्यास का मुख्य फोकस सेमी-अर्बन और बिल्ट-अप क्षेत्रों में आतंकवाद-रोधी संयुक्त अभियान होगा — यह वह युद्धक्षेत्र है, जहां आज के समय में दुनिया के अधिकांश आतंकी संगठन सक्रिय हैं।
यूएन चार्टर के अध्याय VII के तहत शांति-प्रवर्तन अभियानों का अभ्यास
पारंपरिक शांति-स्थापना अभियानों के उलट, संयुक्त राष्ट्र चार्टर के अध्याय VII के तहत सेनाओं को बल प्रयोग की अनुमति होती है। ये अभियान उन क्षेत्रों में चलाए जाते हैं जहां सशस्त्र आतंकी समूह सक्रिय हों और जहां स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने के लिए केवल निगरानी नहीं, बल्कि सीधा हस्तक्षेप और कार्रवाई आवश्यक हो।
अजेया वॉरियर 2025 को इसी चुनौतीपूर्ण परिप्रेक्ष्य में तैयार किया गया है, ताकि भारतीय और ब्रिटिश सैनिक उन परिस्थितियों के लिए तैयार हों जिनका सामना अफ्रीका, पश्चिम एशिया और एशिया के संघर्ष-ग्रस्त क्षेत्रों में तैनात यूएन सैनिक करते हैं।

दोनों सेनाएं संयुक्त रूप से कॉम्बाइंड इंटीग्रेटेड बैटल टीम्स का गठन करेंगी और मिशन प्लानिंग से लेकर फाइनल एक्शन तक की प्रक्रियाओं को साझा करेंगी।
