Exercise Garuda 25: India and France Deepen Aerial Combat Synergy as IAF’s Su-30MKI Takes to French Skies for the 8th Edition

As winter winds sweep across the sprawling French airbase of Mont-de-Marsan, one of Europe’s most advanced fighter aviation hubs, the Indian Air Force has begun its participation in the 8th edition of the Indo-French bilateral air exercise ‘Garuda 25’. The exercise, scheduled from 16 to 27 November 2025, marks yet another milestone in one of India’s longest-standing and most meaningful air combat partnerships.
