The Jaipur Military Station witnessed a dignified and inspiring Felicitation Ceremony to honour the individuals and institutions that played a pivotal role in the flawless conduct of the 78th Army Day Parade 2026. The ceremony was organized to recognize the exemplary contributions of military personnel, civil administrators, police officials, intelligence agencies, veterans, and various supporting organizations whose collective efforts ensured the seamless execution of one of the most prestigious national events. Leadership and Honour: Lt Gen Manjinder Singh Presides Over the Ceremony
The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, who personally felicitated the awardees for their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted how the combined efforts of civil and military agencies created a model example of synergy. He commended the tireless service rendered by officials from diverse backgrounds and acknowledged the disciplined execution by the soldiers of Sapta Shakti Command, whose devotion ensured the success of the mega event.
Recognition of Excellence: Awards for Civil and Military Contributors
Held at the Sapta Shakti Auditorium, the ceremony brought together a wide range of awardees, including members of civil administration, police forces, intelligence agencies, service veterans, and active-duty soldiers. A total of 13 Army Commander’s Commendation Cards and 8 Army Commander’s Appreciation Cards were awarded to civil functionaries for their exceptional service. Additionally, 40 Army Commander’s Commendation Cards were presented to military personnel for their operational excellence. A special Veterans Achiever Award was also conferred to honour the continued contributions of ex-servicemen in nation-building.
Prime Minister’s Vision: Taking National Events Beyond Delhi
In his address, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh reiterated that the historic Army Day Parade in Jaipur was inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary decision to host major national events outside Delhi. This initiative aims to strengthen public outreach, foster national unity, and allow citizens across the country to directly participate in celebrations of national pride. He expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Defence Minister and the Chief of Army Staff for facilitating the successful conduct of the parade in Rajasthan.

The Army Commander also acknowledged the comprehensive support extended by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the state administration. Multiple events were smoothly conducted across various public locations, ensuring widespread public participation. The unprecedented turnout and enthusiasm shown by the people of Rajasthan reflected the strong coordination between the Army and the state government, making the event a landmark celebration in the region’s history.
Indian Army: Not Just the Nation’s Army, But the People’s Army
Emphasizing the emotional bond between the Army and citizens, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh stated that the Indian Army is not only the protector of the nation but also the Army of the people. The celebrations included Mega Blood Donation and Medical Camps, a Cycle Rally, the Know Your Army Exhibition, the Army Day Parade, and a spectacular “Shaurya Sandhya” event that honoured the traditions of valour and sacrifice. Over 15 lakh people witnessed the events physically, while lakhs more joined digitally. The programs were broadcast through more than 12,000 digital displays in Gram Panchayats across Rajasthan, ensuring grassroots-level engagement.

इस सम्मान समारोह की अध्यक्षता लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह, आर्मी कमांडर, सप्त शक्ति कमान ने की। उन्होंने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से जुड़े सिविल प्रशासन के अधिकारियों, पुलिस, खुफिया एजेंसियों, सेवा निवृत्त सैनिकों तथा सप्त शक्ति कमान के सैन्य कर्मियों को उनके अनुकरणीय योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया। इन सभी की संयुक्त मेहनत से 78वीं सेना दिवस परेड 2026 का आयोजन निर्बाध, सुरक्षित और प्रभावशाली ढंग से संपन्न हो सका। समारोह के दौरान यह स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई दिया कि किस प्रकार सैन्य अनुशासन और नागरिक प्रशासन के अनुभव ने मिलकर एक राष्ट्रीय आयोजन को ऐतिहासिक सफलता दिलाई।
सप्त शक्ति सभागार बना सम्मान और गौरव का केंद्र, बड़ी संख्या में अधिकारियों को मिले प्रशस्ति पत्र
सम्मान समारोह का आयोजन जयपुर स्थित सप्त शक्ति सभागार में किया गया, जहाँ विभिन्न विभागों से जुड़े सिविल फंक्शनरीज़, पुलिस अधिकारी, खुफिया एजेंसियों के प्रतिनिधि, सेवा निवृत्त सैनिक और सप्त शक्ति कमान के वीर जवान उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर कुल 13 आर्मी कमांडर प्रशंसा पत्र और 08 आर्मी कमांडर प्रशस्ति पत्र सिविल अधिकारियों को प्रदान किए गए, जबकि 40 आर्मी कमांडर प्रशंसा पत्र सैन्य कर्मियों को दिए गए। इसके अतिरिक्त एक वेटेरन अचीवर अवॉर्ड भी प्रदान किया गया, जिससे पूर्व सैनिकों के राष्ट्र निर्माण में योगदान को सम्मान मिला। यह सम्मान केवल पुरस्कार नहीं, बल्कि देश के प्रति समर्पण की सार्वजनिक स्वीकृति का प्रतीक बना।
प्रधानमंत्री की दूरदर्शी सोच और राष्ट्रीय पहुंच की नीति को बताया आयोजन की प्रेरणा
अपने संबोधन में आर्मी कमांडर लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने कहा कि माननीय प्रधानमंत्री की दूरदर्शी सोच के अनुरूप राष्ट्रीय आयोजनों को दिल्ली से बाहर आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया गया, ताकि देश के हर कोने तक राष्ट्रभक्ति और सेना की गौरवशाली परंपराओं का संदेश पहुंचे। उन्होंने कहा कि राजस्थान में सेना दिवस परेड का आयोजन इसी सोच का परिणाम है। उन्होंने माननीय रक्षा मंत्री और थल सेनाध्यक्ष का आभार व्यक्त किया, जिनके मार्गदर्शन और समर्थन से जयपुर में इस भव्य आयोजन को संभव बनाया जा सका।
राजस्थान सरकार के सहयोग से जनता तक पहुंचा सेना का संदेश, मुख्यमंत्री की भूमिका की सराहना
आर्मी कमांडर ने राजस्थान के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा प्रदान किए गए सर्वांगीण सहयोग की विशेष रूप से सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार के सहयोग से विभिन्न सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर अनेक आयोजनों का सफल संचालन हुआ, जिससे आम नागरिकों को सेना से जुड़ने का अवसर मिला। जयपुर की सड़कों से लेकर ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों तक सेना दिवस से जुड़े कार्यक्रमों ने जनता में देशभक्ति की नई ऊर्जा भरी। राजस्थान की जनता की अभूतपूर्व भागीदारी और उत्साह इस बात का प्रमाण है कि भारतीय सेना केवल सीमाओं पर नहीं, बल्कि जनता के दिलों में भी मजबूत स्थान रखती है।

लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मनजिंदर सिंह ने अपने भाषण में यह भी दोहराया कि भारतीय सेना केवल राष्ट्र की रक्षा करने वाली संस्था नहीं, बल्कि नागरिकों की भी सेना है। इसलिए सेना दिवस का उत्सव केवल सैन्य परिसरों तक सीमित नहीं रहना चाहिए, बल्कि नागरिकों की सक्रिय सहभागिता के साथ मनाया जाना चाहिए। जयपुर में आयोजित सेना दिवस कार्यक्रमों में आम लोगों की भारी भागीदारी इस सोच का जीवंत उदाहरण बनी।
बदलते भू-राजनीतिक परिदृश्य में “Whole of Nation Approach” की जरूरत पर जोर
आर्मी कमांडर ने वैश्विक और क्षेत्रीय भू-राजनीतिक परिवर्तनों का उल्लेख करते हुए “समग्र राष्ट्र दृष्टिकोण” यानी Whole of Nation Approach की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान सुरक्षा चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए सैन्य बलों और सिविल संस्थाओं के बीच मजबूत समन्वय अनिवार्य है। जयपुर में सेना दिवस परेड के दौरान सैन्य बलों, सिविल प्रशासन, शैक्षणिक संस्थानों और कॉर्पोरेट जगत के बीच जो तालमेल देखने को मिला, वह भविष्य के लिए एक प्रभावी मॉडल के रूप में उभरा है।
“शौर्य और बलिदान की परंपरा” थी आयोजन की थीम, दिखा भारतीय सेना का बदलता स्वरूप
जयपुर में आयोजित 78वीं सेना दिवस परेड और उससे जुड़े कार्यक्रम “भारतीय सेना: शौर्य और बलिदान की परंपरा” थीम पर आधारित थे। इस दौरान “डिकेड ऑफ ट्रांसफॉर्मेशन”, “ईयर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी अब्सॉर्प्शन”, “राष्ट्र निर्माण में पूर्व सैनिकों की भूमिका” और “ऑपरेशन सिंदूर” जैसे विषयों को प्रभावशाली ढंग से प्रस्तुत किया गया। इन आयोजनों ने यह दिखाया कि भारतीय सेना परंपरा और आधुनिकता का संतुलन बनाए रखते हुए भविष्य की चुनौतियों के लिए खुद को लगातार तैयार कर रही है।
रक्तदान शिविर से लेकर शौर्य संध्या तक, हर आयोजन बना देशभक्ति का उत्सव
सेना दिवस के अवसर पर विशाल रक्तदान एवं चिकित्सा शिविर, साइकिल रैली, “अपनी सेना को जानें” प्रदर्शनी, सेना दिवस परेड और भव्य “शौर्य संध्या” जैसे कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए। इन सभी आयोजनों का उद्देश्य केवल मनोरंजन नहीं, बल्कि सेना की शौर्यगाथाओं, बलिदान और अनुशासन की परंपराओं को आम जनता तक पहुंचाना था। शौर्य संध्या ने विशेष रूप से युवाओं में देशभक्ति की भावना को मजबूत किया।
15 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों ने देखा आयोजन, डिजिटल माध्यमों से पहुंचा हर गांव तक संदेश
इन सभी कार्यक्रमों को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से 15 लाख से अधिक लोगों ने देखा, जबकि लाखों लोगों ने डिजिटल माध्यमों से इसका अवलोकन किया। राजस्थान की 12,000 से अधिक ग्राम पंचायतों में डिजिटल डिस्प्ले के माध्यम से इन आयोजनों का प्रसारण किया गया। मीडिया और सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स के जरिए करोड़ों लोगों ने इस गौरवशाली आयोजन में सहभागिता की। यह आयोजन केवल जयपुर तक सीमित नहीं रहा, बल्कि पूरे राज्य और देश में राष्ट्रभक्ति की लहर बनकर फैला।
