In the spirit of compassion and community harmony, Gangana Veera Kendra lit up the festive season with an inspiring act of kindness. On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the center organized a heartwarming distribution drive under its motto “Sab Ki Seva, Sabko Pyaar” (Service to All, Love for Everyone), bringing smiles to dozens of children and women living in the basti area near Second Bothra Chowk, in front of Saket Building.
The celebration began with members of Gangana Veera Kendra personally visiting the locality to hand over 100 Diwali gift packs, each thoughtfully prepared with an assortment of kachori, traditional sweets, fruit juices, wafers, and chocolates. The gesture was not only about sharing food, but also about spreading joy, human warmth, and togetherness — the true essence of Diwali.
Spirit of Service and Togetherness
Leading the noble initiative was Chairperson Chandrakala Bhoora, who emphasized the importance of sharing festive happiness with those who need it most. “Diwali is not just about lighting lamps in our homes; it’s about lighting hearts with compassion,” she said, expressing gratitude to all members and volunteers who contributed to the initiative.
Secretary Veera Sarita Nahata and Vice President Kanchan Chhallani coordinated the event with meticulous planning, ensuring that every packet reached the families personally. Treasurer Mohini Chopra and Joint Secretary Sarita Anchalya managed the logistics and distribution process with seamless teamwork.
Other active members who joined the drive included Veera Suman Chhajed, Publicity Minister Swati Chhajed, Veera Sangeeta Jain, Moomal Devi Sonawat, Basanti Devi Pincha, Tara Devi Sethia, Basanti Pincha, Ratan Bothra, Simple Bothra, and Leela Sethia. After the successful distribution, the team gathered at Saket Building Hall for a community meeting. The agenda included a welcome session for new members of the Gangana Veera Kendra and an introduction to the center’s upcoming social and cultural programs.
Chairperson Chandrakala Bhoora addressed the gathering, outlining the vision for continued community engagement through education, women’s welfare, and health awareness drives. The members also exchanged ideas for enhancing the reach of their social service projects in nearby localities, reaffirming their commitment to inclusive development.

करुणा, सेवा और सामाजिक समरसता की भावना से ओतप्रोत गंगाणा वीरा केंद्र ने इस दीपावली को विशेष बना दिया। सेवा के अपने आदर्श वाक्य “सबकी सेवा, सबको प्यार” के साथ केंद्र ने समाज के जरूरतमंद वर्गों तक त्योहारी उल्लास पहुंचाने का एक प्रेरणादायी प्रयास किया। बीकानेर के सेकंड बोथरा चौक स्थित साकेत बिल्डिंग के सामने बस्ती क्षेत्र में रहने वाले बच्चों और महिलाओं के बीच मिठाई, नमकीन और जूस का वितरण कर केंद्र ने दीपावली का सच्चा अर्थ — खुशियां बांटने की परंपरा — जीवंत कर दिया।
इस अवसर पर केंद्र की सदस्यों ने स्वयं बस्ती क्षेत्र में जाकर 100 दीपावली गिफ्ट पैक वितरित किए। इन पैकेट्स में कचौड़ी, मिठाई, फ्रूट जूस, रेफर, वेफर्स और चॉकलेट जैसी चीजें शामिल थीं। यह केवल खाद्य वितरण नहीं था, बल्कि एक भावनात्मक संदेश था कि दीपावली की असली रौशनी वही है जो दिलों में प्रेम और एकता के दीप जलाए।
सेवा और सौहार्द की मिसाल
इस पुनीत कार्य की अगुवाई केंद्र की चेयरपर्सन चंद्रकला भूरा ने की, जिन्होंने कहा कि, “दीपावली केवल घरों को रोशनी से भरने का त्यौहार नहीं है, यह दूसरों के जीवन में प्रकाश फैलाने का अवसर है।” उन्होंने सभी सदस्यों और सहयोगियों का आभार जताया जिन्होंने इस नेक कार्य में अपनी भागीदारी निभाई।
केंद्र की सचिव वीरा सरिता नाहटा और उपाध्यक्ष कंचन छल्लाणी ने पूरे कार्यक्रम का सूक्ष्म नियोजन किया ताकि हर परिवार तक प्यार और मिठास से भरे पैकेट पहुंच सकें। वहीं कोषाध्यक्ष मोहिनी चोपड़ा और सह सचिव सरिता आंचलिया ने वितरण की पूरी व्यवस्था को सहजता और सटीकता के साथ संभाला।
इस अवसर पर केंद्र की अन्य सक्रिय सदस्याएं — वीरा सुमन छाजेड़, प्रचार प्रसार मंत्री स्वाति छाजेड़, वीरा संगीता जैन, मूमल देवी सोनावत, बसंती देवी पिंचा, तारा देवी सेठिया, बसंती पिंचा, रतन बोथरा, सिंपल बोथरा और लीला सेठिया भी उपस्थित रहीं। सभी ने मिलकर समाज के वंचित वर्गों के बीच अपनापन और खुशियां बांटकर दीपावली को और भी रोशन बना दिया।
आगामी योजनाओं पर विमर्श
वितरण कार्यक्रम के बाद साकेत बिल्डिंग के हाल में केंद्र की बैठक आयोजित की गई। इसमें नए सदस्यों का स्वागत किया गया और उन्हें केंद्र की गतिविधियों एवं आगामी योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई।
बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए चेयरपर्सन चंद्रकला भूरा ने शिक्षा, महिला सशक्तिकरण और स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता जैसे क्षेत्रों में केंद्र की आगामी सामाजिक पहलों की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने कहा कि गंगाणा वीरा केंद्र सदैव समाज में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन लाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध रहा है और आने वाले समय में इसका दायरा और भी विस्तृत किया जाएगा।
सचिव सरिता नाहटा ने पिछले एक वर्ष की गतिविधियों का लेखा-जोखा प्रस्तुत किया और आगामी वर्ष के कार्यक्रमों का कैलेंडर साझा किया। उन्होंने सभी सदस्यों से केंद्र की सामाजिक पहलों में अधिक सक्रियता से भाग लेने का आग्रह किया।
दीपों से आगे दिलों में रोशनी

बस्ती के बच्चों के चेहरों पर मुस्कान और उनकी आंखों की चमक ने इस बात को स्पष्ट कर दिया कि सच्ची खुशियां पैसे से नहीं, संवेदनाओं और अपनत्व से आती हैं। वहीं महिलाओं ने भी केंद्र की सदस्यों को आशीर्वाद देते हुए कहा कि इस तरह के प्रयास समाज में प्रेम, समानता और मानवता की भावना को और मजबूत करते हैं।
उम्मीद और प्रेम का संदेश
गंगाणा वीरा केंद्र के इस मानवीय प्रयास ने पूरे बीकानेर में एक सकारात्मक संदेश दिया — कि छोटे-छोटे प्रयास भी बड़े बदलाव ला सकते हैं। दीपावली के इस पावन पर्व पर जब हर घर में दीप जल रहे थे, तब इन वीरांगनाओं ने उन घरों में भी उम्मीद की लौ जलाई जहां अंधकार और अभाव का साया था।
उनका यह कार्य इस बात का प्रतीक है कि असली रौशनी सिर्फ दीयों से नहीं, बल्कि दयालुता और करुणा से जगती है। समाज के इन निःस्वार्थ प्रयासों ने यह सिद्ध कर दिया कि “सबकी सेवा, सबको प्यार” केवल एक नारा नहीं, बल्कि एक जीवंत भावना है जो समाज को जोड़ती है।
