GOC, RED SHIELD DIVISION VISITS SAINIK SCHOOL IMPHAL

GOC, Red Shield Division, also the Chairman of Local Board Administration, visited Sainik School, Imphal on 11 March 2024. The GOC was briefed on on the Sainik School’s accomplishments, ongoing projects and its commitment towards maintaining the highest standards of excellence while outlining future plans by the Principal.
The General officer toured various facilities within the institution and interacted with cadets, teachers, administrative and support staff, including officers, to obtain firsthand insights into their experiences and challenges.
During interaction, GOC conveyed his deep admiration for the institution’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its remarkable contributions to the realm of education. “Since its establishment in 1971, this esteemed institution has consistently nurtured a cadre of officers who now hopd pivotal appointments within the Indian Armed Forces,” he remarked. “Moreover, the illustrious alumni of this institution have also excelled in the Civil Services and have made significant strides in diverse fields of science and technology,” he added.
The GOC lauded the institution’s pivotal role in fostering innovation, providing top-notch training and advancing research initiatives. He emphasized the crucial role these endeavours play in bolstering comprehensive development. Furthermore, he exhorted the institution to continue in its pursuit of excellence, highlighting the invaluable impact it has had on shaping the future leaders of the nation.
