Golden Arrows of India: Shyam Sundar Swami Strikes Gold in Europe, Bikaner’s Rising Archery Icons Shine on World Stage
Bikaner, August 30, 2025 – The echoes of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” resonated across the European skies when India’s ace archer Shyam Sundar Swami clinched the gold medal at the prestigious World Ranking Archery Tournament held in the Czech Republic. With nerves of steel and an eye as sharp as an eagle, Shyam Sundar defeated France’s Guerin Maxime in the final by a thrilling margin of 149-145, cementing his name as one of India’s most consistent performers on the global archery circuit.
The victory was not merely a medal win—it was a statement of intent from a sportsman who has been rewriting the narrative of Indian archery. Shyam Sundar’s every arrow, finding its mark with precision, drew thunderous applause and chants for India. सोने के तीर से चमका भारत: यूरोप में श्याम सुंदर स्वामी ने रचा इतिहास, बीकानेर के धनाराम ने भी दिलाया स्वर्ण
बीकानेर, 30 अगस्त 2025 – यूरोप के चेक गणराज्य में आयोजित प्रतिष्ठित वर्ल्ड रैंकिंग तीरंदाजी टूर्नामेंट में भारत के तीरंदाजों ने कमाल कर दिखाया। भारत के स्टार तीरंदाज श्याम सुंदर स्वामी ने फाइनल मुकाबले में फ्रांस के गुएरिन मैक्सिम को 149-145 अंकों से पराजित कर स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर भारत का मान बढ़ाया। जैसे-जैसे श्याम सुंदर के तीर निशाने पर लगते गए, पूरा स्टेडियम “भारत माता की जय” के नारों से गूंजता रहा।
यह जीत श्याम सुंदर के लिए लगातार दूसरी बड़ी अंतरराष्ट्रीय उपलब्धि है। इससे पहले उन्होंने थाईलैंड में एशिया कप में भी स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर देश का तिरंगा ऊँचा किया था। साल 2025 में यह उनकी दूसरी बड़ी अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्वर्णिम सफलता है, जिसने राजस्थान और पूरे भारत को गर्व से भर दिया।

इस शानदार सफलता पर पूरे खेल जगत और राजस्थान में उत्सव का माहौल है। राजस्थान क्रीड़ा परिषद के अध्यक्ष नीरज के. पवन, राजस्थान तीरंदाजी संघ के अध्यक्ष दीपेंद्र सिंह, और राजस्थान ओलंपिक संघ एवं तीरंदाजी संघ के महासचिव सुरेंद्र सिंह गुर्जर ने श्याम सुंदर और उनके कोच अनिल जोशी को बधाई दी।
