High Alert in Pakistan: US Nuclear Emergency Aircraft Spotted Amid Possible Radiation Leak at Kirana Hills After Indian Air Strikes

In a major and mysterious development, the United States National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) nuclear emergency response aircraft—identified as Beechcraft B-350 AMS (Tail Number N111SZ, Hex Code A03192)—has been spotted in Pakistan, triggering widespread speculation of a nuclear-related emergency inside the country. This unusual American movement follows recent reports of precision Indian Air Force (IAF) strikes under Operation Sindoor, aimed at key Pakistani military and infrastructure targets.
The aircraft, typically deployed by the US Department of Energy in response to nuclear accidents, radioactive leaks, or nuclear terror threats, was reportedly tracked near Nur Khan Air Base, Rawalpindi. Its sudden arrival has raised serious concerns about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear facilities—particularly the Kirana Hills nuclear storage site, located in Punjab province.
Radiation Emergency or Strategic Deception?
Unconfirmed intelligence reports suggest that the Kirana Hills facility may have suffered critical damage during the IAF’s deep-penetration surgical strike under Operation Sindoor. The Kirana complex has long been believed to house high-value Pakistani nuclear assets, including warheads and fissile material.
Further suspicion is now fueled by the fact that Boron, a crucial chemical element—specifically the isotope Boron-10, known for its radiation absorption properties—was delivered to Pakistan just days before the American aircraft’s arrival. Notably, Boron is abundantly sourced from Egypt’s Nile Delta, and an Egyptian military jet was recorded landing at Nur Khan Air Base in the same timeframe.
This has led experts to theorize that Pakistan may be either dealing with a real radioactive incident or staging an international perception campaign to imply that India’s airstrikes endangered South Asia’s nuclear equilibrium.
What is the B-350 AMS?
The Beechcraft B-350 AMS (Aerial Measuring System) aircraft is part of the NNSA’s Radiological Emergency Response Program. It is outfitted with sensors and equipment that detect and map radiological contamination over wide areas. Deployment of this aircraft usually only occurs in events involving potential nuclear hazards—like reactor leaks, warhead damage, or dirty bomb attacks.
The presence of this aircraft on Pakistani soil is unprecedented, as the US has historically kept such high-level nuclear coordination limited to NATO allies and territories where the US itself maintains nuclear infrastructure.
Strategic Timing Amid Operation Sindoor
The Indian Air Force’s Operation Sindoor, launched in early May 2025, has reportedly targeted Pakistan’s clandestine missile storage units, communication nodes, and military-industrial zones. High-value strategic sites in southern Punjab and PoK were believed to be on the target list.
