INDIAN ARMY ORGANISED EX-SERVICEMEN INTERACTION AND MEDICAL CAMP AT DIGBOI, ASSAM

In a heartfelt initiative to honour the valor and sacrifice of our esteemed Ex-Servicemen, Spear Corps of Indian Army organised an Ex-Servicemen Interaction and Medical Assistance Camp at Digboi on 20 April 2024. The event was attended by 23 Ex-Servicemen along with their dependents from Digboi and adjoining areas.
The event was held to address grievances, sharing information with the Ex-Servicemen about policies related to welfare of the veterans and to express gratitude for their contribution in nation building.
Provision of medical check-up by an Army doctor was catered for and requisite medicines were also provided to the attendees.
Dedicated information counters with regards to SPARSH, DIAV Initiatives and action by Next of Kin (NOK) on demise of Ex-Servicemen were shared. Canteen facility was also placed at the venue.
