Women’s Empowerment, Fellowship and Culture Shine Bright at Project No. 9, District 305 Event

Inner Wheel Club of Bikaner (District 305) hosted a vibrant and culturally rich celebration on the auspicious occasion of Teej Utsav, combining tradition, elegance, empowerment, and camaraderie. The event, held on July 25, 2025, was marked by enthusiastic participation, joy-filled moments, and deep-rooted symbolism representing the spirit of Indian womanhood and unity.
Grace, Glamour, and Games — A Festive Fusion
Held under the project category “Status of Women, Friendship and Fellowship”, the Teej celebration was nothing short of spectacular. Members and guests came dressed in colourful traditional attire symbolizing the essence of Saawan, making the atmosphere truly festive.
The event featured lively musical games, interactive fun rounds like Housie, and spirited dance performances. One of the major highlights of the day was the “Catwalk Sawan Queen” contest — a ramp walk that infused glamour into the celebration. The participants, flaunting ethnic elegance and infectious confidence, made the contest a huge hit.
Crowning of the Sawan Queens
Renowned Bikaner-based judge and choreographer Mrs. Sanjogita Sharma was the esteemed judge for the catwalk segment. She not only evaluated participants with charm but also crowned the winners and runners-up on stage, creating a moment of honour and pride.
The hall echoed with cheers and applause as the Sawan Queen and Runners-up walked the stage wearing their crowns. The pride and self-confidence reflected in their eyes resonated with the event’s core message — empowering women to shine.
Presence of Dignitaries and New Membership
The event was further elevated by the gracious presence of District Chairman (DC) Bindu Gupta, who was warmly welcomed with a floral garland and a symbolic plant by the Club President, Secretary, and members. Her words inspired the gathering and added prestige to the occasion.
In a significant milestone for the club, a new member was inducted into the IWC Bikaner family. The pinning ceremony was conducted with elegance and warmth by DC Bindu Gupta herself, further enhancing the spirit of fellowship and expansion.
Gifts, Gratitude and Grand Finale
Club President and Secretary extended their gratitude by presenting thoughtful gifts to DC Bindu Gupta, Mrs. Sanjogita Sharma, and the entire organising team including the winners of the various competitions.
The celebrations concluded on a delicious note with the serving of special Teej delicacies, including the traditional sweet Sattu, bringing sweetness and togetherness to the evening.

इनर व्हील क्लब बीकानेर (जिला 305) ने 25 जुलाई को पारंपरिक तीज उत्सव को रंग-बिरंगे अंदाज में मनाया। कार्यक्रम नारी शक्ति, मित्रता, और सांस्कृतिक समर्पण का सजीव प्रतीक रहा, जिसमें क्लब की महिलाओं ने उत्साह, गरिमा और आत्मविश्वास के साथ भाग लिया।
संगीत, खेल और सौंदर्य — तीज की रंगीन शाम
परियोजना श्रेणी “नारी की स्थिति, मित्रता और मेलजोल” के अंतर्गत हुए इस आयोजन में हाउज़ी, म्यूजिकल गेम्स, नृत्य और पारंपरिक परिधान में रैम्प वॉक जैसी गतिविधियों ने कार्यक्रम को जीवंत बना दिया।
“सावन क्वीन कैटवॉक” प्रतियोगिता कार्यक्रम का प्रमुख आकर्षण रही। रंग-बिरंगे परिधानों और आत्मविश्वास से लबरेज़ महिलाओं ने मंच पर नारी गरिमा की झलक प्रस्तुत की।
सावन क्वीन का ताज और तालियों की गूंज
बीकानेर की प्रसिद्ध कोरियोग्राफर श्रीमती संजोगिता शर्मा ने सावन क्वीन प्रतियोगिता को निर्णायक के रूप में जज किया और विजेताओं को मंच पर ताज पहनाकर सम्मानित किया। विजेता महिलाओं के चेहरों की मुस्कान आत्मबल और प्रेरणा का प्रतीक बनी।
जिला चेयरमैन की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति और नई सदस्य का स्वागत
कार्यक्रम में डिस्ट्रिक्ट चेयरमैन बिंदु गुप्ता मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहीं। क्लब अध्यक्ष, सचिव और सदस्यों ने उन्हें पुष्प माला और पौधा भेंट कर स्वागत किया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान एक नई सदस्य का क्लब में स्वागत और पिनिंग भी किया गया, जिसे स्वयं डीसी बिंदु गुप्ता ने सम्मानित किया।
