IWC Bikaner Donates Wheelchairs to District Hospital for Enhanced Patient Care
Bikaner. In a remarkable act of compassion and service towards the community, the members of Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Bikaner (District 305), have contributed to strengthening healthcare infrastructure by donating two wheelchairs to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rajkiya Jila Hospital, Bikaner. The initiative comes under the project category – “Reach Out for a Better World – Family Welfare, Healthy and Community.”
The wheelchairs, sponsored by the dedicated members of IWC Bikaner, were officially handed over to Dr. Monika Ranga (Gynecologist) and other medical staff of the hospital. These wheelchairs are specifically allocated for the Labour Room and Sishu Grah Emergency Ward, where the need is considered the highest.
A Step Towards Patient Welfare
The hospital often faces challenges due to the high inflow of patients, particularly in maternity and child care departments. The availability of wheelchairs will not only ensure smoother patient mobility but also reduce the discomfort of patients in critical conditions. This noble initiative will directly impact the lives of countless patients, easing their pain and assisting hospital staff in carrying out their duties more effectively.

The wheelchairs carry the name of IWC Bikaner and the Inner Wheel logo, symbolizing the club’s active role in social service and community engagement. By ensuring that patients in the labour ward and child emergency ward have access to mobility, IWC Bikaner has made a meaningful contribution to family welfare and healthcare services in the region.

This initiative will not only benefit the hospital staff by making their work more efficient but also provide relief to patients and their families, thereby uplifting the overall healthcare experience at the district hospital.

आईडब्ल्यूसी बीकानेर ने जिला अस्पताल को व्हीलचेयर भेंट कर दिया मानवीय संवेदनाओं का संदेश
बीकानेर। सामाजिक सरोकार और सेवा कार्यों के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को निभाते हुए इनर व्हील क्लब (IWC) बीकानेर, जिला 305 की सदस्याओं ने राजकीय जिला अस्पताल (एसडीएम अस्पताल), बीकानेर को दो व्हीलचेयर भेंट की। यह पहल क्लब की परियोजना श्रेणी “रीच आउट फॉर अ बेटर वर्ल्ड – फैमिली वेलफेयर, हेल्दी एंड कम्युनिटी” के तहत की गई।
ये व्हीलचेयर विशेष रूप से लेबर रूम और शिशु गृह आपातकालीन वार्ड के लिए दी गई हैं, जहां इसकी आवश्यकता सबसे अधिक है। इन व्हीलचेयर को क्लब की सदस्याओं द्वारा प्रायोजित किया गया है और इन्हें आधिकारिक रूप से स्त्री रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. मोनिका रंगा एवं अस्पताल स्टाफ को सौंपा गया।
रोगियों की पीड़ा को कम करने की पहल
अस्पताल में प्रतिदिन बड़ी संख्या में मरीज आते हैं, विशेषकर प्रसूति एवं बाल चिकित्सा विभाग में। ऐसे में व्हीलचेयर की उपलब्धता मरीजों को त्वरित व सहज सुविधा उपलब्ध कराएगी। इससे गंभीर स्थिति में मरीजों को राहत मिलेगी और अस्पताल स्टाफ का कार्य भी सुचारू रूप से संचालित हो सकेगा।
समाज सेवा की मिसाल
आईडब्ल्यूसी बीकानेर की अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्याओं ने कहा कि यह पहल सामाजिक सरोकार और मानवता के प्रति समर्पण का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने बताया कि इनर व्हील क्लब का उद्देश्य हमेशा जरूरतमंदों की मदद करना और समाज में सहयोग की भावना को बढ़ावा देना है।
व्हीलचेयर पर IWC बीकानेर का नाम और इनर व्हील का लोगो अंकित किया गया है, जिससे यह संदेश जाता है कि क्लब समाज की बेहतरी के लिए हमेशा तत्पर है। लेबर रूम और शिशु गृह आपातकालीन वार्ड के लिए यह योगदान निश्चित रूप से परिवार कल्याण एवं स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को मजबूती देगा।

इस पहल से न केवल मरीजों और उनके परिजनों को सुविधा मिलेगी, बल्कि अस्पताल की कार्यप्रणाली में भी सुधार होगा।
