KONARK VIJAY RUN: “RUN WITH SOLDIERS, RUN FOR SOLDIERS

In commemoration of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 war, the Konark Corps organised a spirited “Konark Vijay Run” at Jodhpur Military Station on 16 December. The run signified tribute to the valour and sacrifice of the soldiers who laid their life for the country.
The run was organized in three categories, encompassing soldiers, families, children and veterans participating to express their solidarity for the soldiers. The event was flagged off by General Officer Commanding, Konark Corps, Lt Gen Mohit Malhotra with over fifteen hundred enthusiastic participants supporting the noble cause.
The Konark Vijay Run embodied the spirit of “Run with Soldiers, Run for Soldiers”. The event served as a fitting tribute to the indomitable spirit of the armed forces and families with renewed resolution of serving nation with pride.

1971 के युद्ध में पाकिस्तान पर भारत की जीत की स्मृति में, कोणार्क कोर ने 16 दिसंबर को जोधपुर सैन्य स्टेशन पर एक उत्साही “कोणार्क विजय रन” का आयोजन किया। यह दौड़ देश के लिए अपने प्राण न्यौछावर करने वाले सैनिकों की वीरता और बलिदान को श्रद्धांजलि देने का प्रतीक थी।
दौड़ को तीन श्रेणियों में आयोजित किया गया था, जिसमें सैनिकों, परिवारों, बच्चों और दिग्गजों को शामिल किया गया था ताकि सैनिकों के प्रति अपनी एकजुटता व्यक्त की जा सके। इस कार्यक्रम को जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग, कोणार्क कोर, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल मोहित मल्होत्रा ने पंद्रह सौ से अधिक उत्साही प्रतिभागियों के साथ हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया, जो इस नेक काम का समर्थन कर रहे थे।
कोणार्क विजय दौड़ ने “सैनिकों के साथ दौड़, सैनिकों के लिए दौड़” की भावना को मूर्त रूप दिया। यह आयोजन गर्व के साथ राष्ट्र की सेवा करने के नए संकल्प के साथ सशस्त्र बलों और परिवारों की अदम्य भावना को एक उचित श्रद्धांजलि के रूप में कार्य करता है।
