Bikaner, Rajasthan – Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, the Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command, recently visited the Bikaner Military Station to conduct a comprehensive review of the operational readiness of the Ranbankura Division. This visit underscores the importance of technological integration and infrastructure development within the Indian Army.
During his visit, Lt Gen Singh assessed various initiatives focused on technology absorption, emphasizing the need for innovation in military operations. He stressed that staying ahead in technological advancements is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. The Army Commander acknowledged the efforts made by personnel in adopting new technologies and encouraged continued exploration of innovative solutions.
In addition to operational evaluations, Lt Gen Singh inspected several ongoing infrastructure development projects at the station. He highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing and active involvement of all personnel in these projects, advocating for continuous monitoring to ensure quality and timely completion. His directive aims to foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the ranks.
One of the key areas of focus during the visit was the Army’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Lt Gen Singh commended the Green Initiatives and waste management practices implemented at the Bikaner Military Station, aligning them with the national mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. He reiterated the significance of maintaining cleanliness and environmental consciousness within military establishments, noting that these efforts not only benefit the immediate surroundings but also reflect the Army’s responsibility towards the community and nation.
Furthermore, Lt Gen Singh visited the Kanasar Tuskers, another unit under the Ranbankura Division. He reviewed their infrastructure development and operational procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the overarching strategic objectives of the Army. His interactions with the troops and commanding officers underscored the importance of morale, training, and readiness in achieving mission success.
The visit concluded with a motivational address to the troops, where Lt Gen Singh expressed gratitude for their dedication and service. He encouraged them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, and commitment, which are vital for maintaining the operational readiness of the forces.
