Lt. Gen. M.V. Suchindra Kumar, the Army Commander North, recently visited Bengaluru’s prominent industrial partners, Tonbo Imaging India Private Limited and Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Defence Industries. This visit aimed to assess the latest innovations in defence projects.

Tonbo Imaging, a company known for designing, building, and deploying advanced imaging and sensor systems, was one of the key stops on Lt. Gen. Kumar’s visit. As a spinout of Sarnoff Corporation and Stanford Research International, Tonbo Imaging boasts a team with extensive experience in battlefield modernization technologies, immersive surveillance, and strategic electronics for military applications. The company’s cutting-edge systems are pivotal in enhancing situational awareness and enabling rapid decision-making in complex environments.

Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Defence Industries, part of the MG Brothers Group, was another highlight of the visit. During his visit, Lt. Gen. Kumar was briefed on various advanced solutions spanning small arms, ammunition, advanced optics, and sensing technologies.
