MEDICAL CAMP HELD BY ARMY IN MOREH

Indian Army conducted an informative medical camp cum awareness session at Primary School, D. Monaphai village, Moreh on Mumps virus. Causes of spread and precautionary measures were covered in detail. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of about 180 villagers including women, elderly and children.

The lecture aimed to educate the local community about the symptom, transmission, medication and preventive measures on the mumps virus. The lecture also emphasized the importance of vaccination and maintaining good hygiene practices. Interactive sessions were held to address queries and dispel myths surrounding the disease. Post lecture medical check up was also carried out post of the attendees.

The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s commitment to public health and community welfare, reinforcing its role beyond traditional duties of maintaining peace and security, actively contributing for the well-being of society.
