Ministry of Home Affairs: Deepak Virmani has been re-appointed as Director

IAS Deepak Virmani has been given re-designation as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post
of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs presently held by IAS Deepak Virmani.

A year 2011 batch IAS officer of AGMUT , Deepak Virmani is currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been re-designated as a measure personal to him with effect from 01.01.2025 or the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post.

IAS Virmani will be serving for a period up to 04.11.2029 i.e total tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
