MORTAL REMAINS OF BRAVE HEARTS ARRIVE IN UTTARAKHAND :

The mortal remains of five soldiers of Uttarakhand who have made the supreme sacrifice in Kathua, Jammu, reached Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun on Tuesday. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to the five bravehearts on behalf of the entire state by laying a wreath on their mortal remains. General Officer Commanding (GOC) Uttarakhand Sub Area, Major General R Prem Raj, led a poignant wreath-laying ceremony at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun to honor the brave hearts who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. This solemn event was a heartfelt tribute to those who laid down their lives in Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir, serving their nation with unwavering dedication.
The ceremony was also attended by many Ministers, Civil, Police and Military dignitaries. The presence of large number of locals underscored the profound respect and gratitude of the armed forces and the nation towards its fallen heroes. The gathering stood as a sombre reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave souls for the safety and security of our country.
The Local military authorities have also arranged to send the mortal remains of the bravehearts to respective native villages with full military honours.
The GOC Uttarakhand Sub Area, along with the officers present, affirmed their commitment to uphold the legacy of the fallen heroes and to continue serving the nation with the same courage and determination. The wreath-laying ceremony at Jolly Grant Airport stands as a testament to the enduring spirit and sacrifice of our armed forces personnel, who embody the highest ideals of duty, honor, and country.
