बीकानेर जिले के अंतरराष्ट्रीय बॉर्डर से सटे खाजूवाला क्षेत्र में एक बार फिर एक अजीब-सा दृश्य उस समय सामने आया, जब 17 केवाईडी क्षेत्र के एक किसान को अपने खेत में अचानक काले और पीले रंग के गुब्बारों का बड़ा गुच्छा पड़ा मिला। सुबह खेत देखने निकले किसान की नजर इन गुब्बारों पर पड़ी, जो फसलों के बीच उलझे हुए थे और बिल्कुल साफ लग रहा था कि हवा के तेज झोंकों के साथ ये गुब्बारे पाकिस्तान की तरफ़ से उड़कर यहां पहुंचे हैं। सीमा क्षेत्र में लंबे समय से ऐसे गुब्बारे आने की घटनाओं ने ग्रामीणों को पहले ही सतर्क बना रखा है, इसलिए किसान ने बिना देर किए पुलिस को इसकी सूचना दे दी।
