‘Saddle Borne Warriors’ Motorcycle Expedition Embarks on a Historic Journey Through the Eastern Himalayas

In a grand display of courage, camaraderie, and the enduring spirit of the Indian Armed Forces, the ‘Saddle Borne Warriors’ Motorcycle Expedition was ceremonially flagged off from Missamari on 26 October 2025. The event, attended by senior veterans, retired personnel, and defence enthusiasts, underscored the Army’s commitment to honouring its legacy while inspiring contemporary soldiers and the public alike.
Flagging-Off Ceremony: A Confluence of Tradition and Pride
The flagging-off ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Gambhir Singh, AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding, Gajraj Corps. Clad in full military regalia, he addressed the participants and guests, highlighting the significance of such initiatives in strengthening the bond between serving personnel and veterans. साहस, साथ-साथ काम करने की भावना और भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की अदम्य शक्ति का प्रतीक बनकर ‘सैडल बोर्न वारियर्स’ मोटरसाइकिल एक्सपीडिशन 26 अक्टूबर 2025 को मिस्सामारी से औपचारिक रूप से रवाना किया गया। इस आयोजन में वरिष्ठ पूर्व सैनिक, सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारी और रक्षा उत्साही शामिल हुए, जिन्होंने भारतीय सेना की विरासत का सम्मान करने और आज की पीढ़ी के सैनिकों तथा आम जनता को प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य को रेखांकित किया।
