SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND CONDUCT AWARENESS PROGRAMME
ON WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

Sapta Shakti Command observed World No Tobacco Day on 31 May 2024 highlighting the importance of protecting our youth from the ill effects of tobacco and saving them from the trap of the tobacco industry. The occasion highlighted the strategies continuously adopted by the tobacco industry to lure the youth and trap them as smokers.
Dr Virendra Singh, an eminent expert, regarded for his significant contributions to the anti-tobacco campaign in India, elaborated on the strategies required to create awareness about smoking and the related hazards of tobacco consumption.
The event witnessed pledging by 500 Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Other Ranks and their families of Sapta Shakti Command and unwavering support to eradicate this dangerous evil from the social fabric.
