Sapta Shakti Command Felicitates Young Achievers for Excellence in Project Veer Gatha 4.0

In a remarkable gesture of encouragement and recognition, the Sapta Shakti Command felicitated two exceptionally talented students, Shruti and Nidhi, for their outstanding achievements in the national-level Project Veer Gatha 4.0 competition. The felicitation ceremony was held on the occasion of Republic Day, marking a significant moment in the journey of these young achievers.

The students were presented with letters of appreciation and prizes on behalf of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command. Their remarkable achievements were celebrated as a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and creative excellence.

About Project Veer Gatha 4.0

Project Veer Gatha is a unique initiative jointly undertaken by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education to instill patriotism among young minds. The initiative engages students in various competitions and activities aimed at educating them about the heroic deeds of Gallantry Award winners, freedom fighters, and war heroes.

The fourth edition of the project, Veer Gatha 4.0, witnessed an overwhelming participation from students across the country. Out of 100 students selected at the national level, two students—Shruti from Haryana and Nidhi from Rajasthan—belong to the Sapta Shakti Command area and brought laurels to their respective schools and regions.

The Young Achievers

  1. Shruti – A bright and enthusiastic student from KM Public School, Hansi Road, Bhiwani, Haryana, Shruti showcased her exceptional writing skills in the Paragraph Writing Competition. Her work stood out among thousands of entries, reflecting deep insight, patriotism, and creative expression.
  2. Nidhi – A talented young artist from Government Senior Secondary School, Katara Aziz, Todabhim, Rajasthan, Nidhi’s artwork was recognized in the Painting Competition of the project. Her artwork creatively depicted themes of courage, nationalism, and the sacrifices of India’s war heroes.

Both students’ remarkable performances serve as an inspiration to countless others and highlight the impact of initiatives like Project Veer Gatha in fostering young talent.

Sapta Shakti Command’s Commitment to Youth Development

The South Western Command (Sapta Shakti Command) has been at the forefront of organizing various initiatives to engage with and inspire the younger generation. These initiatives include:

  • Outreach programs to connect with students and educate them about the Indian Army’s role in nation-building.
  • Motivational lectures & interactive sessions to instill confidence and a sense of duty among youth.
  • ‘Know Your Army’ Melas where students get a first-hand experience of Army life, equipment, and operations.
  • Competitions, exhibitions, and cultural programs to promote nationalism and appreciation for the armed forces.

Through such endeavors, the Army not only strengthens its bond with the youth but also instills in them the values of discipline, courage, and patriotism.
