Shrimali Brahmin Samaj Bikaner Organises Grand Tarpan & Rishi Poojan Ceremony on Rishi Panchami
Bikaner |– The holy occasion of Rishi Panchami was marked with deep spiritual fervor and community participation by the Shrimali Brahmin Samaj in Bikaner. The society organised a day-long religious programme that witnessed the faithful gathering in large numbers to honour the sages, ancestors, martyrs and soldiers through rituals of tarpan, pujan and vaidik ceremonies.
The auspicious proceedings began at 10:30 am at the sacred Dharanidhar Mahadev Sarovar, where community members assembled for a series of traditional rituals. Under the guidance of learned priests, the devotees performed Tarpan, Hemadri Sankalp, Dashoushadhi Snan, and offered anjali to their forefathers, soldiers, and martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation. The atmosphere was filled with sanctity as chants of Vedic mantras resonated across the waters, binding the community together in devotion and remembrance.
Society President Shyam Sundar Shrimali emphasized the spiritual significance of the day, saying that Rishi Panchami is not only a day to worship sages but also to express gratitude to our ancestors and national heroes. He added that rituals like Tarpan symbolise the eternal bond between the living and those who came before, ensuring that traditions are passed on to the younger generations.
Following the morning rituals, the second phase of the programme commenced at 2:00 pm at the historic Mahalakshmi Temple in Benisar Bari. The temple premises came alive with Rishi Poojan, Janeu Abhimantran (sacred thread ritual), Batuk Bhairav Poojan, and the grand Aarti. The sanctified environment echoed with rhythmic chanting of hymns, bells, and devotional offerings by the devotees, creating a spiritually uplifting experience.
The entire set of religious ceremonies was conducted under the auspices of renowned priests – Acharya Pandit Ravishankar, Pandit Narendra, Pandit Manoj, Pandit Omnarayan, and Pandit Rahul Shrimali, along with other Vedic scholars who led the devotees through the intricate rituals.
The day-long celebrations were not merely symbolic but carried deep cultural, spiritual, and social resonance, reminding the community of its heritage, values, and responsibilities towards society and the nation. The collective participation of the Shrimali Brahmin Samaj reflected the unity and continuity of traditions that have defined the cultural ethos of Rajasthan for centuries.
श्रीमाली ब्राह्मण समाज बीकानेर ने किया तर्पण एवं ऋषि पूजन का भव्य आयोजन
बीकानेर | – पवित्र ऋषि पंचमी के अवसर पर श्रीमाली ब्राह्मण समाज, बीकानेर की ओर से गुरुवार को धार्मिक आस्था और वैदिक परंपराओं के साथ भव्य आयोजन किया गया। तर्पण, संकल्प, पूजन और वैदिक अनुष्ठानों के माध्यम से समाजजनों ने अपने पूर्वजों, ऋषियों, शहीदों और सैनिकों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
सुबह 10ः30 बजे धरणीधर महादेव सरोवर पर बड़ी संख्या में समाजजनों और भुदेवों की उपस्थिति में कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ हुआ। आचार्यों के सान्निध्य में श्रद्धालुओं ने तर्पण, हेमाद्रि संकल्प, दशोषधी स्नान किया और अपने पितृ पुरखों, राष्ट्र के वीर सैनिकों व शहीदों को अंजलि अर्पित की। वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार और सरोवर तट पर गूंजती आराधना ने वातावरण को पवित्र और भावनात्मक बना दिया।
समाज अध्यक्ष श्याम सुंदर श्रीमाली ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि ऋषि पंचमी केवल ऋषियों की पूजा का पर्व नहीं, बल्कि यह पूर्वजों और देश के लिए बलिदान देने वाले वीरों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने का भी अवसर है। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन समाज को अपनी जड़ों और परंपराओं से जोड़ते हैं और नई पीढ़ी तक संस्कृति का संदेश पहुंचाते हैं।
इसके उपरांत, कार्यक्रम का दूसरा चरण दोपहर 2 बजे बेनिसर बारी स्थित ऐतिहासिक महालक्ष्मी मंदिर में आरंभ हुआ। यहां पर ऋषि पूजन, जनेऊ अभिमंत्रण, बटुक भैरव पूजन एवं महाआरती का आयोजन किया गया। मंत्रोच्चार, घंटियों की ध्वनि और श्रद्धालुओं की भक्ति ने वातावरण को आध्यात्मिक रंग में रंग दिया।
पूरे आयोजन का संचालन विद्वान आचार्यों – पंडित रविशंकर, पंडित नरेन्द्र, पंडित मनोज, पंडित ओमनारायण और पंडित राहुल श्रीमाली सहित अनेक पंडितों के सान्निध्य में हुआ।
यह दिनभर चला आयोजन केवल धार्मिक अनुष्ठानों तक सीमित नहीं रहा, बल्कि समाज की सांस्कृतिक विरासत और सामूहिक एकता का प्रतीक भी बना। श्रीमाली ब्राह्मण समाज का यह आयोजन राजस्थान की धार्मिक-सांस्कृतिक पहचान को और प्रगाढ़ करने वाला साबित हुआ।
