SOUTH WESTERN COMMAND INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025 HELD WITH MILITARY GRANDEUR AT KOTA MILITARY STATION

The South Western Command Investiture Ceremony 2025 was conducted with customary military traditions, discipline, and grandeur at the Gandiv Auditorium, Kota Military Station on 20 February 2025. This annual event serves as a platform to recognize and honour the exceptional gallantry, dedication, and devotion to duty demonstrated by personnel of the Indian Army.
The prestigious ceremony witnessed the presentation of fourteen individual awards, including seven Sena Medals (Gallantry), one Yudh Seva Medal, one Sena Medal (Distinguished), and five Vishisht Seva Medals. These awards were conferred by Lieutenant General Nagendra Singh, Corps Commander, Chetak Corps, on behalf of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command.






Recognizing Gallantry and Excellence
The Investiture Ceremony is an annual event conducted to confer distinguished awards upon personnel who have displayed extraordinary courage, outstanding leadership, and an unwavering commitment to duty. This year, the award recipients comprised ten Officers, one Junior Commissioned Officer, and three Soldiers, each of whom demonstrated exceptional valour and professionalism in their respective roles.
In addition to the individual gallantry and distinguished service awards, sixteen Army units were honoured with the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Command Unit Appreciation for their meritorious performance in military operations, training, and various other operational domains.

On this proud and momentous occasion, the Chief Guest, Lieutenant General Nagendra Singh, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all awardees, commending their selfless service, indomitable spirit, and unyielding commitment to national security.
