61 CAVALRY RIDERS SHINE IN DELHI HORSE SHOW

The 39th edition of the annual Delhi Horse Show held at Army Equestrian Centre, Brar Square Delhi Cantt concluded with resounding success on 17 Apr 2024.
The prestigious Horse Show registered remarkable record breaking 250 entries from various backgrounds, including schools, colleges, riding clubs and academies. The participants also included Indian Army teams from 61 Cavalry, PBG, RVC and ASC adding to the event’s diversity and prestige.
The event provided ample opportunity for every rider to showcase their skills and passion for the sport, highlighting the dedication and talent within the equestrian community. Maj Pritam Mishra of 61 Cavalry and Mr. Abhishek Chopra secured the titles of the best ARMY rider and best SENIOR rider respectively. Notably, Ms K Sahiti Reddy triumphed in the six-bar event, clearing a height of 180 cms, adding another thrilling moment showcasing skill and determination
Lt Gen VMB Krishnan, QMG was the Chief Guest for the Grand finale of the DHS Gymkhana event and gave away the prizes the Best Army rider to Sep Babu Lal of ASC & Most promising rider to Swr Ubale from 61 Cavalry. Maj Yashdeep Ahlawat was adjudged the Best Senior Rider in the said championship.
